I also have this game, but I haven't been played it for years.
Gonna have to install it and see if I can get it running with C2D-machine on WinXP. If it wont work, then I have to rely on my good old PIII/TNT2 Pro-computer with Win98.
I can get this game running on my C2D/WinXP machine, with compatibility utility and glide wrapper. However, it crashes occasionally. That's why I am still keeping my 1.2G WinMe machine, with a Voodoo card. :p
I thought it was a nice landing, spliced together clips or not. The final approach looked about textbook to me. I had to get this game so I could play Jane's F/A-18 online (to be fully patched up with F/A-18, you need the Persian Gulf maps from this game)and I've only flown it a couple of times. I did ok on the landings, but I'm used to carriers so I come in a bit steeper and then level out. Jane's games are known for their complexity so landing is an acheivement in their games. Nice job!
Just keep the flight path marker on the close end of the runway until about 100 feet or so off the ground. Then, slowly drag the FPM up the runway until it's just below the end, while decreasing throttle all the time.. slowly.

Would have been a better video if you didn't cut out segments of the touch-down...

I wish that they would do new versions fitted to current state of the art hardware and compatible for Windows 7.

I used to play this game back in the 90's with a voodoo 3000 video card, it looked awesome, I am sure the game play still rivals todays flight sims.
