  • i fink-ee sahd it rit u see..:-P

  • i hate biology... thnx for this

  • he says diastole and systole wrong/weirdly >.<

  • @txixtxlxt It may sound weird to you. but he pronounces it correctly.

  • @jnaindea I don't think it's correct or incorrect. He tells you the information correctly, so there shouldn't be a problem really... unless people can't understand him.

I think he pronounces it weirdly because it's different from how i say it, but it's not wrong.

  • @MysticalFlyingMonkey Actually the way it is pronounced in this video is correct. If you go to the Merrian-Webster site or any other dictionary site, it will give you an audio clip of the correct pronunciation.

  • @Shakiralsabel Where i come from, we don't pronounce it like that. And it still varies in different countries- but the info's correct so there shouldn't be a problem.

  • @jnaindea are you american by any chance?

  • @txixtxlxt I'm american..and he does pronounce it correctly actually, American or not. If you don't believe me, look on the Merriam-Webster site (or any other dictionary site) and click play on the audio pronunciation. I'd post the link here if it would let me.

  • @txixtxlxt Yes I'm American. I guess we pronounce it differently.

  • @txixtxlxt

Thats how you pronounce it, even in England.

  • God this fucking 1:21 clip explained the pressure-volume loop so much better than the professor and multiple TA's.

  • Comment removed

  • where is atrial systole...who can tell me??

  • @ccgoh01 artrial systole is the last third of diastole. in which the contraction of artrial muscles is responsible for giving additional 30% of blood into the ventricles.

  • Wooo!! This cycle makes much more sense with a video!!!! Thanks!!!

  • thanks, this really helps :)

  • GabhrooShakeen09

That's what he means when he says ventricular contraction "causes" them to close. Without the contraction, there would not be pressure. Pressure is merely the result of the contraction.

  • some of it is wrong mate. ventricular contraction doesn't cause the valves to shut. its the pressure which forces open and closes valves...

  • thank you very helpful

  • this helped so much, thank you!

  • THAANKYOU

  • WOWW this clarifies this sooo much!! Thank yoU!
