The attendees, including myself, chased him off and told him they wanted nothing to do with him or his views. Being a Caucasian Person and having met and talked to Kevin as well as videoing him in Houston I am proud to put race aside as an issue in politics. Along with particularly Kevin, I would be happy to stand behind many other Conservatives regardless of their heritage. Those of You who are posting racially inflammatory comments be you black, white, or any other heritage are only perpetuating the problem. This is about Conservatism versus Liberalism, or Statism not about color or heritage.

Fail. I listened to the quotes you've put on there from Garofalo, and she never said that you or anyone was in "danger of being attacked". Racism is generally more subtle than that. A little tip: if you want someone to cop to racism, having a black man walk and ask if they''ve seen any is probably not going to produce positive results. I know PLENTY of white folks who are really uncomfortable having a black president.

uncomfortability with a black president does not equal racism or bigotry. My dad and my uncle both intensely dislike Obama. Over Christmas most of our conversations will be over his policies and appointees. It is entirely logical that someone would dislike a president because of his choices and policies. Did you hate Bush cause he was white or because you disagreed with him?

Naturally some who disagree with Obama can cite actual policies. Many others don't care what his policies are--his color is the issue. The vitriol against Obama is insanely disproportionate to whatever he's actually accomplished. Apparently, in Nov. 2008, all those t-partyers suddenly woke up and decided that they don't trust the gov't. What a coincidence! They exchange hot-button words ("marxist", "socialism", etc) and work themselves into a froth. They hated him before he took office.

this is true of some, but whether Obama himself is a socialist, or if he is playing both sides against the other, he certainly has no distain for socialists or marxists, surrounding himself with vile examples of both during his time on this planet. Is it any wonder people think he is because he hangs out with so many uber lefties ? If Bush had one friend who was in the KKK would you not plead guilt by assosciation ?
