Will never forget this scene, for me it was when Dr Who went into hybernation and did'nt reamerge untill Christopher Eccleston brought him back. David Tennant was even stronger but think Matt Smith was a move in the wrong direction. Just my thoughts.
I think you did a great job. What if all the regenerations were done this way? The Tennant to Smith one was my favorite, but still not as seemless as this.
press 8 and pause it before the end...and you'll probably be thinking ''is that mat lucas?!?'' thumbs up if you agree! well mat lucas with long hair :-)
It is an unedited screenshot. As I understand it, Peter bleached his hair for the part, this must have been before they had decided to do that. His natural colour is kind of mouse brown
@tigerlight430 That's correct- his first recorded story was 'Four to Doomsday' (which as you probably know was the episode immediately after 'Castrovalva'). Filming them out of normal sequence enabled him to settle into the character better before the spotlight was on him more in his debut story. In Four To Doomsday you can see that his hair is more its natural colour but the producer insisted on it getting more highlighted as time went on.
At once, that's the saddest and coolest regeneration I've ever seen. Poor Dr. he was the best. I loved Baker as the doc. DOES ANYONE KNOW IF THE FOURTH GEN. DR WHO IS AVAILABLE IN FULL EPISODES ON YOUTUBE? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Peter Davison didn't have his blonde highlights when he shot the regeneration with Tom Baker, all he had was this white makeup on his face as he morphed from the watcher, then he was told to just sit up afterwards, he made eye contact with Tegan.
This is so awesome - I really was hoping for a regen of this quality in the Movie, and then in the new series (not into the Watcher/Cocoon at all, or the sparkly/energy stand up regenerations, but those are infinitely better that the laugh-inducing facial contortions of the TV Movie Regen which looked more like the morgue smelled bad than anything. Nice work.too bad it didn't actually happen this way...

Put the soundtrack back and add some glow and I'd say you've got the perfect regeneration!

Well done, but I miss the mid-way "cocoon" stage that made this regeneration so different.
