Krishnadevaraya was a kannada ruler who patronised telugu also and telugu literature grew leap and bounds during his reign. Kannada was already being used a court language by Kadambas during 6th century AD. I have respect for Tamil language as well. So we should come out of the shell and appreciate each other and understand.

go to google and and look at the chart of how dravidian language evolved. You will know that Kannada started developing as an individual language even before tamil. And telugu inscription comes from old kannada script. It does not mean that Telugu has come from Kannada. Kannada inscription copper plates are found in Jabalpur in Madhya Pradesh. I dont know when will you guys stop talking idiotically. Look at evidence and how different Kannada is rather than barking the same rubbish all the time.

ITS not good to claim kannada is older than Tamil when Kanna is just and always will be a dialect. Actually evicence states that kannda come from Africa since Tamils were in India 40 000 years ago whilst Kannda only 1000 years ago. I pray to God people don't try and lie.

on the whole my personal opinion people of karnataka especially the saraswat brahmins are beautiful.. but i guess thats because they migrated from the north much later ? cant say !

Tamils is 40K years old as Muruga after defeating Surabadman created Tamil and than taught it to Agastyar who than spread it. The Ramayanam occured around 40-50000 years ago, and it is well known that Agastyar visited Sri Lanka than so that means Tamil is 40 000 years old.
