LOL!!!!!!! another ebay parts buying idiot. LOL. Fun fact, superchargers are not fans. They actually compress the air and force it into the engine. All your little fan did was cost you money and make you look like an idiot. Congrats!
lol I remember when I was 15 and I bought one because I was stupid..... Do Not BUY these people! They are leaf blowers!!!!! I'M SERIOUS! If you want more info message me lol
LOL, who keeps convincing you people this is a good idea. a fan is NOT a compressor. a fan pushes air, it does not squeeze air like a centrifugal blower. no matter how fast you spin the fan the pressure wave does not leave the fan blades. LOL again. there is only one real electric supercharger and it uses 3 starter motors (200 amps) and still looses alot of efficiency because of the gearing to get it up to 120,000 rpms. stop wasting your time
@Norkidexo. Apparently your not veery bright because if u knew anything about and belt driven supercharger then u wood know that they draw power from the engine to create more power
ROFL!!! People still fall for this! REALLY, Come on!. Just go to the junk yard and dig around, get some sheet metal, fabricate a bracket and go for it. Heck I'm putting a homemade supercharger on my jeep. BUT, the core will be a real, belt driven, centrifugal system.
I am going to assume that you speak a different type of English being Australian, in fact I know you do as I've lived some time in England. Here in America, centrifugal is found in the base term centrifuge. Please make allowances for the diversity of culture found around the world. CENTRIFUGAL is correct in the American English lexicon. It is a CENTRIFUGAL supercharger where I come from. I have no idea what it is in Australia. Could be the same thing and you're just daft. IDK
@NegroDeSangue I was basing my comment on the fact that there is no such thing as centrifugal force. I'm not here to start an argument, but did not know anything about these centrifugal superchargers.
@mswhong1 There's no such thing as centrifical force, you need to try not be a smart ass and learn things a little bit better before trying to correct someone. It's centrifugal force.
I HAVE A TWIN -ELECTRIC- BLOWER SET UP; ONE IS A SUPER 54'K SUPER BLOWER; MAIN BLOWER IS A THREE LEVEL- STAGE AIR SYSTEM ; THAT I HAVE DEVELOPED,ALOT OF SLEEPLESS NIGHTS CRUNCHING NUMBERS ; HIGH SPARK COIL PACS AND PLUGS AND HIGH FLOW INJECTORS PLAY A BIG PART, PEOPLE ARE ALWAYS WANTING A BIG QUIK FIX; BUT DON'T DO THE HOME WORK OF MAKING ALL THREE WORKING TOGETHER- AIR-SPARK-FUEL; YOU CAN HAVE ALL THE AIR YOU WANT BUT IF THEIRS NOTHING TO MIX WITH OR TO IGNIGHT IT -GET THE POINT- sgnd RR
@kurnoe so if it was made of metal would it be any better? I've been doing a lot of reserch and i know they don't add nearly as much as a normal supercharger but this one i found seems pretty lidget?
@wichois please don't listen to what you see on the net, most of it is bull... or just people who really don't know what they are talking about. forced induction is not as simple as just blowing air into your engine at high speed... even if the fan could spin fast enough to get any compression, the ampage draw from your alternator alone will reduce any hp gain you may have got. also with forced induction you need to remap your ecu or you will get nasty flat spots across the rev range.
@wichois These are complete junk - they take electicity from the alternator to run correct? Under increased load, the alternator takes away engine HP. There is no way it makes any power, its impossible to create more power using power sorry!
@NorkiddExo No it can work. This is a marine bilge blower not a real electric supercharger. A real electric supercharger is powered by your battery and the alternator kicks in during a voltage drop to recharge the battery. Use a capacitor to prevent voltage drop and you are good. Sheet metal fans and marine bilge blowers only relieve intake restriction for a few extra HP but do not make pressure for a increase in HP and torque.
@kurnoe Just a question, being its only on when you have full throttle, are you holding down the peddle longer then 30 seconds? if so thats why. your not spost to hold it down any longer then that, and you should let it cool down for at lest 15 seconds before going at it again. just saying.
@kamich56 Kamich56 there is no performance gain from this marine bilge blower. You need compressed air to make more HP. There is on compression only a intake restriction relief. You are better off getting a cold air intake to make more power for your drag racing. This was not designed for cars. It could melt and fly apart sending parts into your engine.
@kamich56 This is a marine bilge blower. It is designed to remove exhaust fumes from boat engine compartments. It is supposed to be mounted on a boat/ship bulkhead. If you go to a marine shop you will find it there. Do a google search for the marine bilge blower and see for yourself. No HP gain with this, nothing but a scam to get money from people.
@kurnoe hmm.. Maybe you can get some heat tape and tape it up if it is the engines heat that is melting it.. IDK I think they sell it at most auto parts stores.. Give it a try..
@kurnoe I could of told you you were wasting your money. Stick to tried and true methods. Intake exhaust...tune. this is and always will be a gimmick. Electric motors just arnt as efficient as an actual turbo or supercharger

You're fooling yourself!
Ask any good tuning mechanic, I know it's not what you want to hear but the truth is, they have no benafit to your power at all.
IF YOU COULD INCREASE HP BY PUTTING A HAIRDRYER FAN INTO YOUR AIR BOX, REAL SUPERCHARGERS WOULDN'T COST THOUSANDS OF POUNDS!!!
The supercharger I am having fitted to my Mercedes as we speak is going to cost me over £7000 when it's completed.
the reason it costs so much is because it works!
If it's too good to be true........

bhnavarro1 3 months ago
@kurnoe that's because they cannot move anywhere close to the required air amount required by the engine.
they only have a mild chance of making an improvement at idle on a small engine but as soon as you open it up it becomes a restriction.
just another ebay scam.
