Advise to Tabla player: get engrossed and enjoy the alap, acknowledge the phrases, and join into enjoy it so the crowd can see you 2 are loving the alap. This is such nice alap but the Tabla player (not knocking his skill) is kinda bored, making the performance look disjointed. End of every phrase say "kya baat" . I play at very junior level but boy it makes me excel if the Tabla player is with you and is enjoying it too. Crowd love it too and the performance becomes a success.
Zakir can sit for an hour alap and be totally engrossed in it and show he is loving it.
Love this, kharaj work is great. You cant not like like!!
