that was interesting. the mockingbirds had to have been completely baffled by the owls non-reaction. their nests are low so they are always aggressive when anyone gets too close. lol, the younger one wasn't helping out much, mostly a decoy. i was waiting for the adult to knock it over.
mockingbirds suck! so much for the garden defense owl, these birds are ruthless. one lives outside my complex and dive bombs me while walking by where I NEED to go. crazy ass birds.
OMG! I cant believe the youtube animal rights activists who never fail to state their ill fated opinions. ITS HER YARD! How is this any different than getting your house sprayed for roaches and rats? should we just allow any animal to invade our property and not do anything? thats asinine. obviously these people aren't homeowners. I'm against hunting, especially for sport, I'm also against how animals are slaughtered for food, but give me a break!
That is funny! I have one in my condo complex that sings his little heart out ALL NIGHT LONG!
Apparently , he is very lonely.... :^) I downloaded some audio sounds of hawks and played them out the front window one night ... He just kept on singing!
I finally know what these birds look like on the ground now... I've been seeing a bunch of them lately, last couple of years. Thanks! now I need to pay more attention to what they are calling.
Never seem to stick around though, like ready to bolt at the slightest movement.
I can't believe you think bird droppings on your furniture is so big a problem you had to resort to aggrivating wild birds.
They were here before you, sunshine, so don't be so arrogant as to presume that you can terrorise birds simply because your chair gets a spot. Cover the furniture if it's such a problem for god's sake.
lol. probably has a shrine that they bow down to at night worshipping the mighty bird man. Lets get serious. This animal lust is killing the world. I think I'll go chomp on some chicken wings.
Oh yes. Especially when they have baby in the nest. That owl was eventually run down by the 2 mockingbirds and I had to remove it from the backyard 'cause I could not stand the noise...

Where did you get your garden defense owl!?
jonobomb 2 years ago
I can see why that would be annoying, but you really shouldn't keep that bird, they could hurt themselves on it. Maybe they have a nest nearby.
Raven2322 3 years ago
Oops sorry about that, I didn't read that you removed it. Yeah, they will attack any intruders.
magicbirdaustin 3 years ago
That hurts them asshole. Any intruder in thier territory they would attack.Mawgue is right, and illdrums2000 is an asshole.

I'd buy a gun, bird droppings are a pain but there is nothing I can do about it, but their "singing" that's another thing.
