You must've set off early - I didn't manage to get any photos of you at the steam watering stop or at Brighton - I did manage to catch up with one of the toledos and several stanleys - and yes the weather was diabolical!
Thanks for your kind comments, it was very wet on the run. The engine is numbered in the 3000's which puts production around spring 1901. I understand banded cylinders first appeared late in 1900

1901 locomobile - nice restoration :-) And you made the London to Brighton through that torrential rain! Well done!
Looks like the later engine - with bands round the cylinders, but still an upright engine before they went to the horizontal layout.
