If you see anything that indicates treason, then you can justly say this. And call not those who are slain in the way of Allah "dead." Nay, they are living, only ye perceive not. (154)
This verse does not mention anything about the highest grade Muslims, rather it merely states that those Muslims who die for the sake of Allah are living, and only we think them to be dead.
@annatsukiya - I get rewards when I am alive, to make the world a better place, to learn, to teach, to love. I don't get rewards after death. Life goes on for the living and it is their turn to grow and experience life.

@vandeindia There has been numerous occassions and protests of Muslims voicing their opinions against this bias, however the Media chooses to deliver only the extremest views. If the media were to broadcast any true preaching of Islam, I would not be surprised to see anyone looking for truth converting. This will only happen if the media delivers truth, but as I have mentioned, the media desires to spark hate towards muslims rather than truth of Islam.

A scholar quoted that maybe 20% of the Muslim population even bothers to pray anymore. It is clear that there is a problem with the ummah. Therefore the truth of Islam is not seen within Muslims themselves unfortunately, rather the Quran and life of the prophet are what reveal the truth of Islam.

And i am not ignorant- in fact when i was younger i even considered converting - until i studied it and saw that it is an evil cult started by an arabian warlord. it does condone violence and the koran, far from being a perfect revelation from "allah", is full of contradictions which means it can be interpreted by one muslim as condoning terrorism and by another as forbidding it. it is the only religion which still advocates the killing of apostates.
