Satch is deffinately a Guitar God. There isnt much that he plays that I dont like. But as to Jeff Beck being the best...he is close. You should check out Roy Clarke. The man could make a guitar do things that it wasnt supposed to do. And as for the people that didnt like this...They are allowed to have their own opinion...even if it is wrong.

When that guitarist starts playing a solo, the solo isn't even in the same progression as the chords. malmsteem just plays arpeggios all the time, battaio is just a shredder and steve vai was taught by satriani(and i personally dont think he is anywhere nearly as good as satch when it comes to song writing) the only badass guitarist you listed is paul gilbert. Satriani is way better then all of them and your guitarist. but no disrespect to Gilbert. he is amazing as well

@mikepshena He worked with James LaBrie on Static Impulse and Elements of Persuasion. Also, Petrucci was one of his main influences. He's never "recorded" or played live with Dream Theater itself though. The thought of a Petrucci/Sfogli jam gets me a bit spacey. XD
