european s40s hit 70mph in 2nd on the red line not in it due to our higher octane fuel and american premium fuel is still not as high as our standard and i'm gonna post a video of the car doing 70 in second

I'm from the uk and it doesn't hit 70 in 2nd. I tried it yesterday just before it touched the red and the needle was a little bit above 60mph.

This car was made in 2004, body "classic" automatic 5 speed transmition :)

tht aint the 1.8 model cause if it was it could easily do 100k in 2nd, i've got a 2001 se model and it'll 73mph on the redline in 2nd

I have a 2002 1.8 S and the max you can get is 63mph just before the needle hits the red. If you mean in the red then you're not looking after your car.
