Although i was a fan of ABBA's since my school days. I did not know that Agnetha or Frida sang alone. I listened to this song a few days ago and i flatly fall for it. Its amazing song. Heart-touching lyrics, music and singing. Great. ABBA was quite popular from the beginning here in Pakistan. Love this song.
Agnetha is one of the best singers in this world though here in brazil ABBA and all members of ABBA are hated by all kind of media. They do everything they can to make ABBA look like a silly band, terrible songs, music only for gays , questionable taste, etc. It is plain to see they envy ABBA but young people who read thigs like these use to believe they are all true. It makes me hate more brazil and feel ashamed to be brazilian.
You shouldn't feel ashamed. The same thing happened in the US. ABBA's talent will eventually shine through, and Brazilians will be listening to ABBA long after the haters are forgotten.
I'm bralizian too and I feel the sme. But we have now youtube to show how amazing Abba is, and now, many many many brazilians are crazy about abba, and I am one of them!
A very beautiful song from "I Stand Alone", which is- in my opinion- her best solo- album. of course they´re all fantastic- but this one from 1987 is somehow a hidden secret- just like she´s singing about in this song.
All her English solo-albums from the 80´s are available on CD, but I think there are different editions/re-releases and some of them include bonus-tracks. Might be available in the internet or by ordering in a music-shop.
This is my favourite song from Agnetha's solo album "I Stand Alone" (closely followed by "Let It Shine" and "The Last Time"). I only have it on vinyl and my record deck died from old age some years ago. Great to hear it again. Thanks for posting. Is this album available on CD ? Have searched and searched but without success.
I Stand Alone is a very good album Shay. I like the pics you chose to do your slides too. It is sort of a pic me up kind of album, compared to My colouring Book. I got my 22" HD Monitor hooked up and it really looks big!! Very nice vid Shay!
Haha love the photo at 0:57 and the whole great song!

What a fantastic performance by Agnetha. I just listened to it about ten times in a row on the way to and from work. I just can't get enough.

I got all her 80's solo albums on CD a few months ago from Amazon.
Some of her out of print CD's can be found on eBay (for example, I got her De Första Åren box set of all her Swedish albums from some guy in the UK).

Agnetha sounds like a true woman, in the historical, or PC world.
This is one of the angels we have been given. I hope we all share these thoughts of Agnetha and ABBA.
What a privilidge to live in the age where we can both hear, see and feel her music.

Once you get a few more vids under your belt Jim, I found it got easier to pick out some good pics

It might get easier but you still need that special something that you and ji61m have which puts you videos way ahead of the ordinary

Ill have to make sure my vids are extra sharp now you have that big screen!

Ha ha Shay! When you zoom to the up close & personal ones, I felt like AGGY was going to end up in my lap! Now wouldn't that be a shame:-)

You can never get too close to Agnetha Dallas,I think I was hooked on that zoom effect when I did this one
