  • These Indians should stick to tech support

  • Is Sadam Hussein financing the show?

  • I would love to see a voodoo server with small business server 7 and hp ILO available at tigerdirect canada and us

  • ssssssssssssssswqdewdwe

  • A few comments;

The 2 hosts of the show suck. They have no presence whatsoever and even less charm to be an MC. The presentation could've been a lot better but I'm thinking that the VooDoo guy is just going along with the show's format. Probably would've been different if this was hosted by HP/VooDoo kinda like the Apple shows.

Still think he should've allowed one of his public relations people to pitch this presentation. The Omen is impressive but there is no reason to pay $2000 for the Envy

  • I went to their website and cant find it they probably discontinued it.

  • the whole fucking point of a laptop is that it is portable you arent gona sit next to your fuking modem and plug it in its ment to be wireless. if u wanna do that use a fuking computer that is a qaurter of that price. and fuk u you stupid ugly fuk and u ugly indian fuk. fuk shit cunt fuck

  • @o0Homemade0o What if you're in a hotel that only provides a wired connection?

  • @o0Homemade0o ,

not all hotel have wifi.. some remote hotel near beaches on tropical island doesn't have wifi..

  • and boom!

  • WOW i really want this Laptop O_O

I bought a Mac book pro a couples of months ago and for my needs It didn't worked well,

    I sold it.

Now this Laptop looks sexy and also has more power than a Mac pro, It comes with Quadcore I7 :D

  • ahahhahahaha omg this is funny shit. "create unimaginable device?"

Like creating carbon copy of macbook?

  • indians!!!!!!

  • Go fuck yourself nigger.

  • looks great, but does it run as good as it looks?

  • this guy is not very good at representation lol

  • Thats the first time I said you were pathetic? Memory issues there too? Apparently so.

If you consider this "making a scene" you really do take youtube too seriously. Of course that would make sense since this is probably all you have.

Well, keep on living in your little dream world, I'm done listening to you ramble on about the life your pretending to live... Which is sadly a pretty bleak one.

  • Making a scene? lol, its a couple of comments of some video on youtube, If that's your idea of a scene, you must take youtube way too seriously. ha ha.

    Your pretty pathetic.

  • You seem to value them so much, I find it pretty odd that you don't have a single video or anything of you driving them.

I have plenty of nice things, as well as a stable job, and really couldn't ask for much right now. You however have nothing aside from serious insecurity issues.

Go outside, make some friends, get a job, and quit acting like you have all these nice things.

Also, go to school and take some English classes, For the accomplished millionaire you are, your Grammar blows.

  • All these great cars and not a single video of any of them? Rofl

Get a life and quit pretending to be something your not.

  • The colors for the Envy are NOT customizable. I looked into it and HP told me it only comes in one color and that's it.

  • i love how you measure your happiness by how much money you have. you definately do have problems... are you trying to boast that you have a better life than this guy? because you probably dont

  • is the cost of something really how you measure value? quit sounding like such a prick!

  • wow, look at this guys profile, it says it all, class a jerk. man you look like a total hick, i bet you drive a god damn Chevy pickup

  • Cause a Macbook Pro is cheap, right? GTFO.

  • lol, you payed 6500 dollars for a brand, when I payed 1000 for the exact same hardware. fucking douche.

  • The Adamo is sweet, but the Vaio is crap.

  • PUNJABI GUY :D CHAK DE PHATTE

  • Sneakers with suit on the stage? Is the audience even there? Gawd-awful.

  • Kind of funny, the macbook air is cheaper and has bigger storage and faster front side bus.

  • get ASUS W90Vp-X1 from newegg for $2,200

    some features includes:

Intel T9600 @ 2.8ghz...overclockable to 4ghz, and most important...ATI 4870 X2....yes, finally comes in a laptop. 6gb of DDR2 ram, 320gb 7200rpm HD. 18.4in 1080p screen. All for $2200 from newegg. This to me is the ultimate laptop for really good price.

the ATI 4780 x2 will eat your 9800GTX SLI alive. It is right on par with GTX 295 desktop GPU. 3Dmark06=20k

  • The host (Cherno Jobatey from Germany) acts like he is on very bad drugs. All that constrained laughing, barely to bear ...

But very nice machines, although their prices are beyond all decency and sort of bad mannered.

@vjimenez2010: with these prices, they will never be competitors to Apple (at least not the Omen), but I think that's not their intention at all. They want to be more exclusive to justify their prices :-)

  • wow arabs

  • he sucks at presenting...he HAS to look at the audience and he acted like the only people on the room was those 2 guys next to him

  • Exciting

  • The Computer Wars has begun... Apple and Voodoo are on a full blown battle to topple each other to dominate the market. The Macbook Air and the Voodoo Envy have been pitted against each other...

  • it has less ports and maybe less features than the lenovo x300

i am not trying to down the envy, just pointing out

  • yes but the lenovo is reaaaaaaaaaaly ugly

  • fully pimped up it can cost like 20,000 freakin dollars its basicly god in a computer

  • So will a Mac Pro, only that isn't trying to rip off anything, unlike this which ironically tries to mimic the Mac Pro entirely.

  • Where can I buy it?

  • Voodoo Envy is 2000-5000 and Voodoo Omen 20,000-60,000.

  • nah dud omen is not that expensive it starts at 7,000 and im not sure if envy is gonna be 5,000 with max configurations the most is 3,500-4000

  • what i would give for those 2 pcs right there..

  • the macintosh clonewars story continues, and by "the omen" I should think about the exorcist. lol

  • that loks just like the macbook except glossier and thinner

  • thinner than the air... LOL

    nice rival for macbook pro

  • The Macbook pro can't compare to voodoo in anyway. Macbooks and Mac desktops are the most closed up pieces of hipster crap it's hard to comprehend.

  • Yeah that 1.6 ghz, with 1 or 2 gb of ram and 80 gb oh hdd and cost's 2000-5000 and has windows is better than MBP.

  • No, the Mac Pro is an 8 core tower not the laptop

  • OMEN is the most beautiful pc ever!!!

  • I ve always loved Voodoo products, well done and gorgeous laptop wish i could get my hands on it.

  • for 2,099 USD, you get 1.6 GHz core duo, 80 gig HDD @4200 rpm.

Oh, and your choice of color... for another 600 dollars, that is.

Weak. voodoo is a POS brand. Only an idiot would pay this much for basically a 700 dollar dell wrapped in a nice shell.

  • hey darwinx, my thoughts were exactly like you, 2 g for 1.8 ghz ? common, it's a piece of shit, but after I'd done my research, i would say wow, the processor this notebook features isn't the regular core 2 duo, instead i tried to look it on intel and wiki sites, this processor doesn't exist yet, the max speed of core 2 duo low vol is 1.33, and this is 1.8, this is not a normal laptop man.

  • The Voodoo Envy 133 and the current-generation Macbook Air are made with very similar parts. Performance differences are negligible between them. Further, the value in these systems is not in performance, but in size and weight, hence the premium.

In other words, LP0001995, STFU and pull your face out of your ass.

  • macbook air is not worth buying

  • Just so you know, you can get a solid state drive in this if you like. I think they are too expensive to be worth it right now, but it's an option. Voodoo mops the floor with Apple imo, and they aren't even in the same league.

  • "Yeah he even wears jeans like Steve Jobs. What a douche." This setting for a product unveiling was not invented by Apple. Aesthetically speaking, they are doing exactly what every other PC company has utterly failed at. PROPS

  • He's also from Calgary. Jeans are not uncommon in office/business/professional environments in Calgary, and that's always been the case. Oil rich Billionaires do business in Levis. In Steve's case he's dressing kind of eccentric given his context, while Rahul's dressing pretty normal for his context.

Rahul is super cool. I don't undestand why someone would dis him in these comments for no reason.

  • this guy is like the steve jobs for PC's. meaning its like he actually cares about his products and showcases them. he'll catch on eventually

  • Rahul, cut your next birthday cake with the Envy!

  • I can't believe nobody commented on the comment "thinner than AIR" XD that was really funny XD I don't care what anyonesays that was a kick in balls for apple XD

  • HELL YEAH VOODOO ROCKS!!!!

  • wow congratulation for your "me-too" technology! point seven zeroooo, everytime i heard that words, it's like being rickrolled

  • Hah, horrible presentation. The laptop looks cool, though.

  • that's an impressive laptop. wow. they need to get someone more savy to do the presentation though.

  • the price starts at 2,099 but if you want it immeadiatly you'd pay that but if you wait it'll drop in price

  • Can't wait it to be released... wonder what the price will be, because if it's going to be more than Apple's MacBook Air, it won't succeed... if it's less, then we have a 100% winner here.

  • naaaah this is VoodooPC these guys don't kid around when it comes to hardware, I'm sure it wont have any hardware flaws like the air did... but hey new things you know, it's better to wait and see what people that buy the product have to say, that's the safest way.

  • Im sure this pc comes with good hardware, all i was saying... they're a follower. Remember what happened to the followers of motorola razr? ipod? ..."me too" technologies. welcome to the club mr rahul! Dont worry, you wont be the last...

  • Voodoo? A follower? They're known as the creators of stylized PCs for years now and if you ask me their products' aesthetic beauty far surpass Apple's toys. Everyone who's into computing knows Voodoo as one of the top quality and very innovative manufacturers. I say Apple follows them instead of the other way around.

Rahul doesn't need to follow, he actually introduced water cooling to home computers a feature far cooler AND practical than anything Apple ever did.....

  • Are you blisteringly clueless, or just plain stupid? Water cooling has been around mass-manufactured prefab computers aimed at consumers since Alienware was just about the only kid on the enthusiast block.

As for their aesthetics, it's been comparable to any other PC manufacturer, perhaps a bit blander since they didn't have the facilities to build something from the ground up. Now that they can, their newer, more minimalistic designs take well more than a few pages out of Apple's design book.

  • The presentation was fine, the audience was just terrible.

  • Yeah, the audience was so wierd! I was like, "why aren't you clapping? He's introducing this nifty computer to you! Enjoy it!"

Don't they notice the volume of information and technology they were recieving?

  • only in America do people clap all the time. Us Europeans actually find it very strange when audiences clap at everything...ie in talkshows. We clap at the end of the presentation because its considered rude to interrupt.

  • voodoo was always better than alienware

  • I have to agree, the presentation needs a lot more practice, product is great but presentation is not even close to Steve Jobs. I mean, come on. telling the audience to applause?? that's ridiculous.

Voodoo PC will definitely be on the same level with Alienware once they release a 15 and 17 inch gaming notebooks. woohoo!!

  • I saved up so much for my HP Blackbird, and it gets obsolete 3 weeks after the purchase.....

    Oh well, nice video 5/5

  • This is Voodoo's way of saying #$%^ you Mac. The whole marketing campaign of the MBA was "The worlds thinnest notebook". They just got uber pwned by the .7 inch Envy 133.

  • FULLY pwned!

  • ROFLMAO!!

  • OWNED BITCHES WOOO OOOOOO

  • Rahul is a good Canadian boy - that is a kickass laptop - but they don't need to imitate Steve Jobs..

  • I don't see where they try to imitate him...

  • Rahul is wearing a white hoodie - the opposite of a black turtleneck.

They waited for applause a bunch of times - but they failed to fill the audience with paid schills - like Apple does - to know when to applaud.

They did everything but say 'bam' after key features.

Don't get me wrong - beautiful laptop - may be the only 'status' motivated piece of tech I ever buy - but really - AAPL's PR is pretty boring and Voodoo doesn't need to copy it.

  • there was just one time when rhaul did not wait for applause and I thought that was actually "mature" if that's the right word I wont think much about that right now, but then that Indian guy had to spoil it by saying "lets let it sink in" that was just plain stupid...

  • "state of the heart" wow WTF sexy notebook but a horrible presentation.

  • I agree they need presentation lessons from Jobs. But Wow! Carbon Fiber? Sweet!! Beats an aluminum laptop. Love the Ethernet/Powerbrick combo!! All the features of a Mac Airbook PLUS more!! (minus Vista)

  • The computers are nice. But this presentation is ridiculus....

They should call steve jobs to teach them. They ruin everything presenting it like this. The effet is 0

  • Nice - the power brick is so smart!

    July?! I want one now...

  • Great vid

  • I cannot get over how thin it is! I love that it is made out of carbon fibre. The weave is gorgeous.

  • its brown power all the way
