If anything, I saw a bit of lacking skill with the operator... Everyone is so quick to talk all big, but they couldn't do any better, lol. It's not always about just having something to say.. it's also about knowing what you're talking about ;-)
@inputverifier I agree with you completely. I wouldn't say anything about this because I don't know a thing about it. But I know a lot about masturbation...thank you very much...
I'm now dumber for watching this. You think this is a cost effective solution for trenching? Wait till you get into some hard or rocky ground and crack up your pin sites and welds on the armature. Anybody with two braincells to rub together should save their money, do a couple jobs by hand with some cheap laborers and buy a real hoe attachment instead of wasting money on this bucket of bolts
I think people just like being a bunch of sheep and whining about something, because everybody else does. It may not be perfect, but it's digging more in the first 20 seconds than two guys would do in 20 minutes. What's the problem?
Happy to announce that we have sold over 2000 of these. Obviously some of the people making comments do not know everything about attachments. Others sell knock-offs of this product that do not even come close. Why do so many companies try to copy it if it isn't any good?
This item is not a excavator. It is a small backhoe for small jobs. I have used mine for 12 years on 6 acres and it has been remarkable.
Used one about 10 years ago. Home built but pretty much the same.Worked really well for what we used it for.Planting trees using 42 in auger and you hit a big stone. It would pull stones out like crazy.5 or 600lb stones. Would not want to dig a basement with it, but that is not what it was meant for.
what a load of fucking shit, if i showed up on a job with this crap i would be told 2 fuckoff, look like another stupid fucking chineese idea, shove it up ur ass
They are actually quite handy if you know how to use them . With a bit of coordination you don't need to keep backing up. lift the bucket as you tilt the unit as you raise or lower the boom,. The machine has all the articulating points needed to dig a trench with a lot less machine travel. They have a unit that slides the whole assembly to the right so even less machine travel is required.
Now if you were limited in trailerspace and could only haul a skid steer and a few attachments to the job sight and you needed to dig a trench like that you might actually have a use for it. Now if that was a job you had to do every day it would make sense to purchase dedicated equipment, plus trailer, and then probably a bigger truck to haul it. and so on.
In this case its a skid steer solution. And it does seem to keep the line of sight pretty clear to the bucket.
on it and it works very well for logs and debris transfer. There is an articulated one of these that swings from side to side via a pump valve switch. Nice thing about this is that it can be operated in cab and not sitting outside in the weather. You can move backing up without lifting leveling arms like the larger bobcat versions. Very good for foundations.. Up to 7 ft depth. Nice for tight work. Just got to know how to us it.
So funny, that's the same thing we have been screaming since we looked at this attachment developed by Skid Steer Solutions! Don't worry video poster guy, you are definately right. Useless. Probably why it is the only one of it's kind.
It doesn't look like a POS to me. It all would depend on the use you need it for. For some people it's probably a wonderful tool that can be attached to their existing loader and accomplish tasks without spending much more for a separate backhoe. It's all in what works for you.
I actually have one, and for the money, it does a great job. Not as fast as a mini excavator, but way cheaper and capable of digging 7 ft. deep. Well worth the money if you already have a skidsteer.
THat was a good one. I truely enjoyed this video, thank you for posting it! I will awaken with a good laugh from a vision of that thing for some time now.
I would like to see how long you would do that with a hand shovel and how fast you would be. No its not a 320 cat and I would'nt trade my 709 for it either. But it don't take much to beat a shovel.
@billstmaxx Tell you what hot shot, Lets have a contest. 1 20 foot long, 2 foot wide 3 foot deep trench. I will use my 3310 with this and you use a shovel. Lets see who is a joke.

ive used one of these before, they are really nice for places where you have no clearance
most people who post about how useless it is have no idea, some people cant drop $30,000 on a digger, so this does just fine.
its not slow, its as fast as you operate it.
