None of this really surprises me about these people. Honesty is so difficult for religious people in general. They always have an agenda. Mind of course is to deconvert everyone accept for the people who really "need" Christianity(IE:sociopaths who can't tell a difference between fantasy and reality). If them "fearing the Lord" keeps them from killing my family, I don't want them to not believe because they are crazy.
This is exactly why I am an Atheist. I was sick and tired of being lied to about the end of the world this, the phones are tapped that, the devil made me do it bullshit, Earth Wind and Fire is a "window" for demonic spirits since they have pictures of Egyptian idols on the front of their CD's. FUCK THAT! Gee, you can't listen to Elton John-he's gay. You can't listen to Godsmack. You can't listen to Tool. You can't do this and you can't do that. Fuck 'em!.

@ChipArgyle Though it would be entertaining... (you could make a reality show about it) it's against the law these days. We say it's because we hope they'll repent, but I think it's just because we're not supposed to break the law. You could do it, if you want. But then you'll be in jail... and I hear Camping is a ninja master (so sneak up on him when he's sleeping, or you'll get beat down by a geezer!)
@ChipArgyle Silly religious tomes, huh? Man, this atheistic pomposity is getting old. Try thinking for yourself, and give the Bible a good, open-minded read. You'll find they're not as silly as you would like them to be.
@ChipArgyle It was a fish, the hair was part of a vow, The Middle East didn't exist in its present form pre-flood, disobeying God is the sinful thing, not the clothes, as I can mix fibers to my heart's content (it was a command for Israel only), and the blood didn't do the curing, but only represented it. You know, the bible describes a lot of principles that were way ahead of their time... I notice you atheists never consider those when you do your religious duty of mocking.
@ChipArgyle I guess magic is an acceptable word for it. Like the magic powers of evolution, for instance. The animals walked, dude, and the power was always from God, the all-powerful. The bible taught against slavery, friend, when the rest of the world was indulging in it. For instance, it was Christians who first spearheaded the fight to END it. Look carefully at the biblical diet for the Hebrews, and learn a bit about modern understanding of diseases.
@studentofthegospel Back it up and explain the items you left unexplained. Magic explains nothing, other than to tell me that you still haven't grown up if you believe in it.
Polar bears, penguins, and Koalas did NOT walk across oceans to the middle east where the supposed ark was built. Try again. How did all those animals return to their habitats after the boat ride ended?
By the way, it's very clear that slavery was condoned in the Bible and God did nothing about it.
@ChipArgyle Slavery was restricted by Biblical law. EXTREMELY restricted. In fact, every 7 years people were required to release their slaves. Like I said before, Christians ended slavery, specifically because of the Bible. If the Bible had specifically demanded slavery ended, Rome would've killed Christians on an even grander scale. There were as many slaves as free men 200 years ago. BTW, what's wrong with slavery in your mind, anyway?
@studentofthegospel You're still not answering those questions of logic I posed. How does one live in a fish for several days? How did polar bears get back to the arctic across oceans after the ark landed? Where did all that flood water go?
So there were rules for slavery. That just proves the point, doesn't it? If there were rules for it, it was legit.
Slavery is the ownership of a human being by another human being. It's immoral by any reasonable standard.
@ChipArgyle Slavery was initially cause by one of two things. You either enslaved the conquered (as an alternative to killing them) or a person sold themselves into slavery to cover a debt. VOLUNTARY! Polar bears had thousands of years to take the trip. Even an atheist could do it... provided he believed in the arctic.
@studentofthegospel Give your head a shake. Polar bears cannot swim across entire open oceans. Neither can koalas or kangaroos. The flood/ ark myth didn't happen. It's proven impossible by simple math any way you choose to analyze it.
Slavery was voluntary? Agreed, in some cases. Those slaves could also be beaten nearly to death. Was that part voluntary too? Suicide is also voluntary. So is prostitution. Your moral compass is spinning out of control now.
@ChipArgyle You call slavery wrong... by what standard? Because it CAN be abused, you call it all wrong. That's like saying knives are wrong cause you can stab with em. I say you're a slave right now to your creditors...You have no standard for behavior... if someone submits himself to slavery, you have no right to call it wrong.
It is believed by those who don't know of Babel that people walked from asia to north america, via the frozen ocean to the north. Polar bears can walk.
@studentofthegospel Maybe there was a slave in biblical times who worked off his debt fairly, without being beaten, who was freed immediately upon reaching zero owed. We just never heard about him. But he always worked under the threat of physical violence. That's the standard.
It wasn't frozen ocean. It was a land bridge that no longer existed at the time of the alleged flood. Timing is everything. There was no such bridge for the kangaroos and koalas.
@ChipArgyle Honestly now, I have no idea how the animals made it to their respective continents. Just like you have no idea how life began, or why the "Cambrian Explosion" occurred, or what started the "Big Bang." There are holes in the knowledge afforded by either theory. The difference is I admit I don't know everything, and atheists each seem to thing themselves the smartest person in the world.
@studentofthegospel How lazy! This is much simpler than life's great mysteries. You don't look at the koalas, emus, and kangaroos and shrug your shoulders. You ask another question: when the flood ended and the ark ran aground, why would those animals bother to make an IMPOSSIBLE swim back to Australia? They would have stayed on land and lived somewhere in the Middle East, Africa, Europe, or Asia. But they didn't. You conclude: the ark/ flood story is merely a myth.
@ChipArgyle How original. I believe God created the world in 6 days by speaking. Getting animals to where they're supposed to be isn't a stretch for me. How bout the Cambrian explosion, or the origin of the Big Bang?
@ChipArgyle Again, you avoid two subjects that I posited. You realize that "magic" is the only possible solution to either. Of course, if I chose to run for office, my religious beliefs are shared by more than yours are.
@studentofthegospel No, magic is not the only possible solution to either. It's your view only. As far as we know, something always was, most likely matter and energy in some form. There doesn't have to be a conscious, all powerful, all knowing, all seeing, yet invisible, intangible, irrational, indifferent, and imaginary god of any sort.
Why do you believe what you do? There are over 2,800 gods documented throughout written history. Why is yours the right one?
@ChipArgyle There are more gods than that in the Hindu faith alone.
Your worldview is a sad one, with no power. I've never seen a drug-addict recover due to his atheism. Never seen a homosexual renounce the lifestyle due to his atheism. Never seen a great artistic achievement in the name of atheism. Mine is the right one because it is the right one. "Seek me and I will let you find me, if you seek me with all your heart." A promise to you from God. Try it out.
@studentofthegospel "Mine is the right one because it is the right one." That explains exactly nothing. No thought involved.
You've seen drug addicts conquer addiction with personal will power. Anyone can renounce a gay lifestyle. Those people are still gay by the way.
I was a Christian longer than you've existed. I never saw any evidence or had a prayer answered. I never felt any of the common delusions you hear about. I started questioning and found out why.
@ChipArgyle You cannot be a Christian, and not believe. You never were one. The belief is the important thing, and you cannot be born a Christian. You have your head in the sand. You say "God had nothing to do with those people recovering." The reason you say that, is because there is no room for God in your worldview. You won't take the millions of personal testimonies at face value, because you have made up your mind. Your faith is astonishing.
@studentofthegospel The "no true Christian" response. I knew you'd come back with that one. Very predictable. And typically arrogant and condescending. I suppose that makes you a "good Christian". You know nothing of the faith I once had.
Testimonies of cases of divine intervention are all anecdotal evidence. The incidents can't be witnessed, supported with physical evidence, recreated, verified or falsified. It doesn't matter how many claim the delusions to be real.
@ChipArgyle That's not the response I used. I said "You cannot be a Christian, and not believe." If you never believed, then you weren't a Christian. It's a statement of fact.
And you do not take anecdotal evidence, because of your pre-existent worldview. There are many scientifically verified miracles. By many, I mean more than a handful. The Church, especially the Roman Catholic one, is very particular about counting something a miracle. "Blind" faith is actually very rare.
@studentofthegospel If that's the case, then you didn't understand what I wrote. I stated point blank that I was a Christian longer than you've existed. That included belief. The key word is WAS.
No court of law bases decisions on anecdotal evidence, because it's not sufficient evidence. It's nothing more than a story. Those who accept it as fact are simpletons.
By definition, there's no such thing as a "scientifically verified miracle". Science is exclusive of magic.
@ChipArgyle A scientifically verified miracle is an occurrence with no scientific explanation..."freak" healings and such. And you're wrong about court...witness accounts are taken in almost every court case, and have always been.
But neither of us, at this point (possibly from the start) is looking for knowledge. We're simply trying to be right. I'm sorry that you left your faith... I often have prayers answered, and so do my brothers and sisters. I'm sorry you didn't.
@studentofthegospel "A scientifically verified miracle is an occurrence with no scientific explanation." What? If there's no scientific explanation, then it's not scientifically verified! It's simply magic then. By definition, science requires repeatability, physical evidence, skeptical peer review, and falsifiability.
No case would go to court if all that was available was witness testimony. Physical evidence is always necessary.
@ChipArgyle Now. Not always. Especially not when the penalty for falsely witnessing was death. When a man recovers from cancer without treatment, "magically" appearing cancer-free before the doctor one day, it's a miracle. When a man recovers from irreperable paralysis without treatment, it's a miracle. Both have happened. No, not to me, but then again, to quote "the santa clause" "I've never seen a million dollars."
@ChipArgyle There are enough stories, and Christians as a rule are supposed to be honest (and it's painful not to be, if you remember your time as a Christian). Thus, the Christians' accounts are more reliable imo than a number of atheists, who pride themselves on having no reason for good moral conduct beyond "it's not hurting anyone." Man, we've commented up this horrible video, because I went along with your first statement in jest. If you want to continue, send me an im.
@studentofthegospel More reliable?! I suppose when they flat out IGNORE the contradictions in the Bible and flat out LIED about them to my face when I was Christian, I suppose that is honesty? Or how about when the ONLY reason they try to convert people to to save their own asses as to NOT confront me about my Atheism would put them in danger of losing their salvation since that would be them sinning willfully-Hebrews 10:26. They are SO honest as opposed to me as an Atheist.
@FriendofDaishonin "As it was in the days of Noah". No one was left alive during the flood. No one was given a second chance to repent during an interim period of time. The pre-trib rapture is a Jesuit lie conjured up by Jesuit Francisco Ribera in 1585. reg6(dot)com
@pretoshohmoofc I don't participate in that silly set of beliefs, ergo I have no mandate to do so. Doomsday prophets are cheap laughs because all of them have been incorrect, some repeatedly. If they didn't get a date right, I'm pretty sure they didn't get the rest of their religion right either. But seriously, these wolves do need to be stopped, because they continue to take money away from stupid people who really shouldn't be preyed upon.
@ChipArgyle You seem like the clenched fisted type. Gritting teeth kind of guy. Angry at nothing and spend all your time with the only life that you'll ever have arguing with people about something you believe doesn't exist. Kill him like you want to kill your Father.
@pretoshohmoofc You are the kind of person who makes all kinds of incorrect assumptions about others.
You appear to have a short memory, so I'll remind you I'm not playing the silly religious game. I don't need to follow the rules of any ridiculous books written by superstitious people thousands of years ago. Do you?
@pretoshohmoofc It's difficult hating something that as far as we know, doesn't exist. Those man-made religions though...they do exist, and the biggest ones are very dangerous things. That was the crux of my original post. Too bad you missed it.
@ChipArgyle Come on guy, I know your type, you spend all your free time arguing with people on something you claim does not exist. you would think that someone like yourself who has only one life to live would go out and do something different. But there is something more to you than you're letting on. You don't believe in a god, but you spend all your time trying to talk people out of this god. Hmmm....Somethings wrong with you.
@MadHornetSeries It's NOT just his problem. Mostly it's the problem of all the people who he's conned out of literally millions dollars. People like Camping are the scourge of society, yet nobody does anything about them.
@ChipArgyle We can't arrest him until we actually have real public disturbance or suicides that happen on his "End Dates." You are right in a way. For example you have a case of nuts, and you find a stone in one and usually what a person would do is complain about it with their friends, but not the company who made it. So nothing has been done about the error(s) in production. I guess people arn't doing enough to get this nutjob arrested.
@MadHornetSeries I think at this point he's had a stroke and won't be causing any more damage than he already has. It's the others like him who are going to fill his shoes that need to be stopped. Why nobody charges these sorts of individuals with fraud is beyond understanding.
@ChipArgyle I think the best idea is to hide his records and stop announcing his thoughts on when the world will end. However, that can only slow it down. You can never get rid of an idea, as it's bound to come up again and again unless you just cease everyone.
@MadHornetSeries If we work hard enough we can get eliminate bad ideas. It worked for slavery and burning witches. In this case, all we have to do is get people to stop believing in things that contain the same elements of fantasy as children's stories, i.e. religions.
@ChipArgyle I'm a Christian, and as much as I appreciate talking with you, I don't want this turned into an arguement ok? Can you agree on that? Not being forceful just saying.
2. they just started listening to someone else who just sounds like he knows what he's talking about but do not investigate the claims for themselves.
@MrAjmoore23 actually that wouldn't be americans. first of all you have to destroy the definition of 'american' to get to what you're aiming at then you have to assume 100% not 9.999999% but 100% believe in the use of their own person timezones.
sounds a bit strange... aussies like to consider themselves smart and make a generalization like you did yet they have a guy in their country who claims to be a descendant of jesus christ. british has their own similar shit.
@TheShizzleCopter If this is the reason you choose to live in hell with the fallen angles then I am confused. You choose not to serve God because there is at least one sin you don't agree with in your life, this is truth. Not because of this.
@mystic81006 you see... when i die and your looking down at me from heaven then i will admit i was wrong. but you see... thats not gonna happen now is it. Its hard to be religious when theres so much evidence against it and none for it. sorry dude but religion is kinda silly with its talking snakes. and just cos im atheist doesn't mean im a crazy sinner now does it. and please this point may be overused but i want to know what a religious person would say. "why is there suffering?"
@TheShizzleCopter Yes it is,unless you admit your a sinner and stop sinning my good friend.I'm not here to judge you but only to warn you. This is not about RELIGION,ITS NOT,ITS ABOUT YOU.I must say this, you blame every one for your guilt like religion but you cant see your own sin at the same time. What ever it may be,only you know what your own sin is.People hate law because its law that takes them away from there love of sin.suffering is brought with sin.
@TheShizzleCopter First you say there is not sin,but then you say there is suffering, what is it? Any one who brings suffering to any one is a sinner. There is no suffering unless there is sin.Yes,because you deny God you have something to hide as a sin,a sin that you cant have unless there is no God.Take God out of the picture, then yea, there is no sin,or is there? If you kill my son,and take him from me,this is a offense to me,its a sin to me,so yes, there still is sin.
DesmondDo why should we forgive him I don't have any hatred for the man but I just think mr camping is wrong he just needs to keep studying the bible I think the next thing he will believe is 21 December 2012 as the end of days but this is also not true as the Mayan's like to believe so I will live life like normal if the end of days does come I will be prepared.
@camtorchwood the problem w/Camping is that he interprets the Bible the way he sees fit. He is a disgrace. He is bad for the Christian faith in that we are bashed enough as it is. Now that he predicted the end of the world, it sets Christianity back. He should have kept his mouth closed. I personally believe that something was/is wrong with his mind....No one in their right mind would make a prediction like he did

Habakkuk 2:18 What profiteth the graven image that the maker thereof hath graven it; the molten image, and teacher of lies, that the maker of his work trusteth therein, to make dumb idols? 19 Woe unto him that saith to the wood, Awake; to the dumb stone, Arise, it shall teach! Shut the fuck up! The bible says to be your own person but yet you have bible huggers following what the bible says, you have the bible talking shit about satan when theres no book of satan talking shit about god. I'm no satanist but I don't believe in that shit cause its stupid and dumb. So you automatically go to heaven for following god? If god was really as how good people say he is he wouldn't be telling us to follow rules and not be ourselves.
Families that do this to their children should be trialed for child abuse. However, we will just allow it to pass and label it a 'silly religious' act.
I have the sense that people are actually excited by the idea of the world ending. It's rather sickening! As an atheist, I guess I respect and enjoy my short time of living much more than that of my religious counterparts...
"Where does he admit to being a false prophet here? This is false advertising!"
Agreed. This video is simply titled to get views (unfortunately it also to solicit comments). Where are the videos of updated interviews of those that campaigned for Camping. I want to see what the guy that had the second coming painted onto his truck thinks about it now. I want to see if the couple regret what they've done to their children. My guess is that they still believe they were right.
Why to people keep trying to predict the future. they said it would end may 21st this year oct 21 this year and now december 21st. look only god knows when it will al end.
my ex mess up leaving a great guy like me :( we been together for 2 months and she end up talking about sex. i told her it too soon i wanna wait longer or better too wait till marry and she tell me how can we be together with out sex. so she broke up with me. since she broke up with me i knew right then she promble just wanna me for sex. cause sex is really not the meaning of love. i want someone who love me for who i am. and how great there personally is. it hard too find the right girl:(
@CharlieBorrows religion teaches people to be good? Goodness does exist outside the realm of religion. There are good people and bad people in life, but in order for a good person to do evil, it takes religion.
@CharlieBorrows well if you want me to spell it out for you i will. Given the general contradictions and false information littered throughout the Torah, Bible and Qu'ran it's impossible to follow these "holy books" to the T. So all religious people have to pick and choose which parts they will adhere to as Law and command from their deity and which parts they will ignore. Now while most people pick the more friendly parts a.k.a love thy neighbour etc. Some choose the more hateful parts
@CharlieBorrows All in all none of it is particularly rationale because if you're going to say this is an infallable holy book than it should all be correct and true and people shouldn't have to cherry pick.
this is hoax because EVERYONE knows that the world will end in a zombie apocalypse. and our salvation lies in that Gun Shop over yonder. Buy a piece of salvation now :)
How fucking childish. Really. What an embarrassment to humanity. Eddie and Jessica Ramos are less mature than their children. And those kids should be taken away from them. I have no doubt they are abused. Anyone who believes and follows the bible like that is definitely doing what the book says, and beating them with a rod over any tiny mistake they make.
the bible is telling the world is ending? come on it clearly says that no1 knows only the father so it means hes actually telling us to be PREPARED not to wait until the day before the armagedon and repent to your sins the world does not work like that humanity will die when he decides to not when u decide freaking fuck tards it still makes me wonder why god havent done the armagedon yet since we are so freaking stupid...

@studentofthegospel Good to see that man's laws can supersede God's laws. It nullifies a lot of content in those silly religious tomes.

@ChipArgyle Silly religious tomes, huh? Man, this atheistic pomposity is getting old. Try thinking for yourself, and give the Bible a good, open-minded read. You'll find they're not as silly as you would like them to be.
studentofthegospel 1 month ago
@studentofthegospel Been there, done that.
Which of the following is not silly?
-a man lived inside a whale for several days
-a man's superhuman strength was in his hair
-genetic diversity is not required to sustain any living species
-polar bears, penguins, and koalas somehow went to the middle east for a boat ride
-mixing clothing fibers is sinful
-dead bird and lamb blood cures leprosy but only if you shave off all your hair including the eyebrows
It's ridiculous.
ChipArgyle 1 month ago
@ChipArgyle It was a fish, the hair was part of a vow, The Middle East didn't exist in its present form pre-flood, disobeying God is the sinful thing, not the clothes, as I can mix fibers to my heart's content (it was a command for Israel only), and the blood didn't do the curing, but only represented it. You know, the bible describes a lot of principles that were way ahead of their time... I notice you atheists never consider those when you do your religious duty of mocking.
studentofthegospel 1 month ago
@studentofthegospel So...we can live inside fish for several days. I see. That makes sense, oh, and you explained nothing about how it's possible.
You explained nothing about how all the animals made it to the ark.
You explained that Samson's strength was indeed magical.
You confirmed that what amounts to a voodoo ritual can cure leprosy. Odd we don't use it today.
Name ONE principle in the bible that was ahead of its time. (Here it comes...SLAVERY!)

Polar bears, penguins, and Koalas did NOT walk across oceans to the middle east where the supposed ark was built. Try again. How did all those animals return to their habitats after the boat ride ended?
By the way, it's very clear that slavery was condoned in the Bible and God did nothing about it.
ChipArgyle 1 month ago
@ChipArgyle Slavery was restricted by Biblical law. EXTREMELY restricted. In fact, every 7 years people were required to release their slaves. Like I said before, Christians ended slavery, specifically because of the Bible. If the Bible had specifically demanded slavery ended, Rome would've killed Christians on an even grander scale. There were as many slaves as free men 200 years ago. BTW, what's wrong with slavery in your mind, anyway?
studentofthegospel 1 month ago
@studentofthegospel You're still not answering those questions of logic I posed. How does one live in a fish for several days? How did polar bears get back to the arctic across oceans after the ark landed? Where did all that flood water go?
So there were rules for slavery. That just proves the point, doesn't it? If there were rules for it, it was legit.
Slavery is the ownership of a human being by another human being. It's immoral by any reasonable standard.
ChipArgyle 1 month ago
@ChipArgyle Slavery was initially cause by one of two things. You either enslaved the conquered (as an alternative to killing them) or a person sold themselves into slavery to cover a debt. VOLUNTARY! Polar bears had thousands of years to take the trip. Even an atheist could do it... provided he believed in the arctic.
studentofthegospel 1 month ago
@studentofthegospel Give your head a shake. Polar bears cannot swim across entire open oceans. Neither can koalas or kangaroos. The flood/ ark myth didn't happen. It's proven impossible by simple math any way you choose to analyze it.
Slavery was voluntary? Agreed, in some cases. Those slaves could also be beaten nearly to death. Was that part voluntary too? Suicide is also voluntary. So is prostitution. Your moral compass is spinning out of control now.
ChipArgyle 1 month ago
@ChipArgyle You call slavery wrong... by what standard? Because it CAN be abused, you call it all wrong. That's like saying knives are wrong cause you can stab with em. I say you're a slave right now to your creditors...You have no standard for behavior... if someone submits himself to slavery, you have no right to call it wrong.
It is believed by those who don't know of Babel that people walked from asia to north america, via the frozen ocean to the north. Polar bears can walk.
studentofthegospel 1 month ago
@studentofthegospel Maybe there was a slave in biblical times who worked off his debt fairly, without being beaten, who was freed immediately upon reaching zero owed. We just never heard about him. But he always worked under the threat of physical violence. That's the standard.
It wasn't frozen ocean. It was a land bridge that no longer existed at the time of the alleged flood. Timing is everything. There was no such bridge for the kangaroos and koalas.
ChipArgyle 1 month ago
@ChipArgyle Honestly now, I have no idea how the animals made it to their respective continents. Just like you have no idea how life began, or why the "Cambrian Explosion" occurred, or what started the "Big Bang." There are holes in the knowledge afforded by either theory. The difference is I admit I don't know everything, and atheists each seem to thing themselves the smartest person in the world.
studentofthegospel 1 month ago
@studentofthegospel How lazy! This is much simpler than life's great mysteries. You don't look at the koalas, emus, and kangaroos and shrug your shoulders. You ask another question: when the flood ended and the ark ran aground, why would those animals bother to make an IMPOSSIBLE swim back to Australia? They would have stayed on land and lived somewhere in the Middle East, Africa, Europe, or Asia. But they didn't. You conclude: the ark/ flood story is merely a myth.
ChipArgyle 1 month ago
@ChipArgyle How original. I believe God created the world in 6 days by speaking. Getting animals to where they're supposed to be isn't a stretch for me. How bout the Cambrian explosion, or the origin of the Big Bang?
studentofthegospel 1 month ago
@studentofthegospel Have you ever seen any magic? That's what your worldview depends on. Obviously no logic is involved.
I speak for millions when I say please don't ever run for office at any level.
ChipArgyle 1 month ago
@ChipArgyle Again, you avoid two subjects that I posited. You realize that "magic" is the only possible solution to either. Of course, if I chose to run for office, my religious beliefs are shared by more than yours are.
studentofthegospel 1 month ago
@studentofthegospel No, magic is not the only possible solution to either. It's your view only. As far as we know, something always was, most likely matter and energy in some form. There doesn't have to be a conscious, all powerful, all knowing, all seeing, yet invisible, intangible, irrational, indifferent, and imaginary god of any sort.
Why do you believe what you do? There are over 2,800 gods documented throughout written history. Why is yours the right one?
ChipArgyle 1 month ago
@ChipArgyle There are more gods than that in the Hindu faith alone.
Your worldview is a sad one, with no power. I've never seen a drug-addict recover due to his atheism. Never seen a homosexual renounce the lifestyle due to his atheism. Never seen a great artistic achievement in the name of atheism. Mine is the right one because it is the right one. "Seek me and I will let you find me, if you seek me with all your heart." A promise to you from God. Try it out.
studentofthegospel 1 month ago
@studentofthegospel "Mine is the right one because it is the right one." That explains exactly nothing. No thought involved.
You've seen drug addicts conquer addiction with personal will power. Anyone can renounce a gay lifestyle. Those people are still gay by the way.
I was a Christian longer than you've existed. I never saw any evidence or had a prayer answered. I never felt any of the common delusions you hear about. I started questioning and found out why.
ChipArgyle 1 month ago
@ChipArgyle You cannot be a Christian, and not believe. You never were one. The belief is the important thing, and you cannot be born a Christian. You have your head in the sand. You say "God had nothing to do with those people recovering." The reason you say that, is because there is no room for God in your worldview. You won't take the millions of personal testimonies at face value, because you have made up your mind. Your faith is astonishing.
studentofthegospel 1 month ago
@studentofthegospel The "no true Christian" response. I knew you'd come back with that one. Very predictable. And typically arrogant and condescending. I suppose that makes you a "good Christian". You know nothing of the faith I once had.
Testimonies of cases of divine intervention are all anecdotal evidence. The incidents can't be witnessed, supported with physical evidence, recreated, verified or falsified. It doesn't matter how many claim the delusions to be real.
ChipArgyle 1 month ago
@ChipArgyle That's not the response I used. I said "You cannot be a Christian, and not believe." If you never believed, then you weren't a Christian. It's a statement of fact.
And you do not take anecdotal evidence, because of your pre-existent worldview. There are many scientifically verified miracles. By many, I mean more than a handful. The Church, especially the Roman Catholic one, is very particular about counting something a miracle. "Blind" faith is actually very rare.
studentofthegospel 1 month ago
@studentofthegospel If that's the case, then you didn't understand what I wrote. I stated point blank that I was a Christian longer than you've existed. That included belief. The key word is WAS.
No court of law bases decisions on anecdotal evidence, because it's not sufficient evidence. It's nothing more than a story. Those who accept it as fact are simpletons.
By definition, there's no such thing as a "scientifically verified miracle". Science is exclusive of magic.
ChipArgyle 1 month ago
@ChipArgyle A scientifically verified miracle is an occurrence with no scientific explanation..."freak" healings and such. And you're wrong about court...witness accounts are taken in almost every court case, and have always been.
But neither of us, at this point (possibly from the start) is looking for knowledge. We're simply trying to be right. I'm sorry that you left your faith... I often have prayers answered, and so do my brothers and sisters. I'm sorry you didn't.
studentofthegospel 1 month ago
@studentofthegospel "A scientifically verified miracle is an occurrence with no scientific explanation." What? If there's no scientific explanation, then it's not scientifically verified! It's simply magic then. By definition, science requires repeatability, physical evidence, skeptical peer review, and falsifiability.
No case would go to court if all that was available was witness testimony. Physical evidence is always necessary.
ChipArgyle 1 month ago
@ChipArgyle Now. Not always. Especially not when the penalty for falsely witnessing was death. When a man recovers from cancer without treatment, "magically" appearing cancer-free before the doctor one day, it's a miracle. When a man recovers from irreperable paralysis without treatment, it's a miracle. Both have happened. No, not to me, but then again, to quote "the santa clause" "I've never seen a million dollars."
studentofthegospel 1 month ago
@ChipArgyle There are enough stories, and Christians as a rule are supposed to be honest (and it's painful not to be, if you remember your time as a Christian). Thus, the Christians' accounts are more reliable imo than a number of atheists, who pride themselves on having no reason for good moral conduct beyond "it's not hurting anyone." Man, we've commented up this horrible video, because I went along with your first statement in jest. If you want to continue, send me an im.
studentofthegospel 1 month ago
@studentofthegospel More reliable?! I suppose when they flat out IGNORE the contradictions in the Bible and flat out LIED about them to my face when I was Christian, I suppose that is honesty? Or how about when the ONLY reason they try to convert people to to save their own asses as to NOT confront me about my Atheism would put them in danger of losing their salvation since that would be them sinning willfully-Hebrews 10:26. They are SO honest as opposed to me as an Atheist.

ChipArgyle 2 weeks ago
@ChipArgyle You seem like the clenched fisted type. Gritting teeth kind of guy. Angry at nothing and spend all your time with the only life that you'll ever have arguing with people about something you believe doesn't exist. Kill him like you want to kill your Father.
you do it.
pretoshohmoofc 2 weeks ago
@pretoshohmoofc You are the kind of person who makes all kinds of incorrect assumptions about others.
You appear to have a short memory, so I'll remind you I'm not playing the silly religious game. I don't need to follow the rules of any ridiculous books written by superstitious people thousands of years ago. Do you?

@ChipArgyle Come on, come clean..you hate God because you hate your father. I know this is true, so why don't you just admit it.
pretoshohmoofc 2 weeks ago
@pretoshohmoofc It's difficult hating something that as far as we know, doesn't exist. Those man-made religions though...they do exist, and the biggest ones are very dangerous things. That was the crux of my original post. Too bad you missed it.
Bye.
ChipArgyle 2 weeks ago
@ChipArgyle Come on guy, I know your type, you spend all your free time arguing with people on something you claim does not exist. you would think that someone like yourself who has only one life to live would go out and do something different. But there is something more to you than you're letting on. You don't believe in a god, but you spend all your time trying to talk people out of this god. Hmmm....Somethings wrong with you.

@MadHornetSeries It's NOT just his problem. Mostly it's the problem of all the people who he's conned out of literally millions dollars. People like Camping are the scourge of society, yet nobody does anything about them.
ChipArgyle 4 days ago
@ChipArgyle We can't arrest him until we actually have real public disturbance or suicides that happen on his "End Dates." You are right in a way. For example you have a case of nuts, and you find a stone in one and usually what a person would do is complain about it with their friends, but not the company who made it. So nothing has been done about the error(s) in production. I guess people arn't doing enough to get this nutjob arrested.
MadHornetSeries 4 days ago
@MadHornetSeries I think at this point he's had a stroke and won't be causing any more damage than he already has. It's the others like him who are going to fill his shoes that need to be stopped. Why nobody charges these sorts of individuals with fraud is beyond understanding.
ChipArgyle 4 days ago
@ChipArgyle I think the best idea is to hide his records and stop announcing his thoughts on when the world will end. However, that can only slow it down. You can never get rid of an idea, as it's bound to come up again and again unless you just cease everyone.
MadHornetSeries 4 days ago
@MadHornetSeries If we work hard enough we can get eliminate bad ideas. It worked for slavery and burning witches. In this case, all we have to do is get people to stop believing in things that contain the same elements of fantasy as children's stories, i.e. religions.

What ever it may be,only you know what your own sin is.People hate law because its law that takes them away from there love of sin.suffering is brought with sin.
mystic81006 1 month ago
@TheShizzleCopter First you say there is not sin,but then you say there is suffering, what is it? Any one who brings suffering to any one is a sinner. There is no suffering unless there is sin.Yes,because you deny God you have something to hide as a sin,a sin that you cant have unless there is no God.Take God out of the picture, then yea, there is no sin,or is there? If you kill my son,and take him from me,this is a offense to me,its a sin to me,so yes, there still is sin.

Given the general contradictions and false information littered throughout the Torah, Bible and Qu'ran it's impossible to follow these "holy books" to the T.
