(Un)Fortunately, you don't need a lot talent to be successful, as long as you have a good representative to sell you to a record label. Nobody buys Bieber for his music! He's just a good lookin' kid who can make girls scream, and that's all he is, and probably will ever be. Take comfort in that :)
@Vaantheassasin Also, you can't compare Kutless, a Christian rock band, to pop artists (two different audiences). Instead, compare them to bands like Red, Skillet, Hawk Nelson, etc. In today's agnostic/pluralistic society, people could care less for a band that glorifies God. However, I believe Kutless is doing just fine for the Christian Rock/Pop market (smash singles like "Sea of Faces" and "What Faith Can Do" prove that)

Christianity is God searching for man. and while the relationship is AVAILABLE, not everyone will accept it. everyone CAN be saved, but not everyone WILL be saved. also, you don't have to go to a "church" per say, but, you do need to fellowship with other believers to strengthen and encourage each other. i do not "label" myself, nor does any TRUE believer, we are what we are: Children of God. i am not "giving myself a label", i am speaking Truth.

@MultiWillable Correction, the way to live in peace is to fully allow Jesus to move into our hearts to sit on the throne of our hearts. We aren't meant to "fix" others, only God can do that but he can accomplish that through us. If you ignore everything, you are stopping God from being able to possibly bring another person to Him and therefore possibly causing another soul to be lost. I do like your science comment :)
I love Kutless their music is always positive even for those who do not believe in God or the son.the music can lift any ones spirit when needed so pray for the lost souls who need some encouragement to find their way through life.most of all do not look down upon those who do not share in the same beliefs that we share.

I do not dislike Christianity in general, I have lots of christians and catholics friends who I respect and it really just comes down to the point of difference of opinion which makes me an atheist. But is the ignorance that some Christians have to modern science that really bother me, just a word of advice if you guys keep a more open mind to what's going on to this world it will make evangelism much easier, don't just always go "oh they hate us becuz of Jesus" , try to be critical.

@AppNRasppProductions Last time I checked Science was 99% theory. One evolution we came from just got busted. We came from monkeys not true any more. Monkeys are only 93% same dna sequence instead what they though 99.8%. What is funnier about this is yeast what you use for bread has a dna sequence of 95.7 identical to us. I am very certain I did not come from yeast last time I check. I am human and that is that.

@onsolidrok Science cannot answer everything because we are careful with everything we say, every theory and law are determined by strict examination of evidence and fact. Can Science give a good answer to the answers above? no, that's why we do not attempt to answer them - yet. At least better than those who attempt to answer these question according to a book written by a bunch of human. But of cuz , faith right? I see that served you well in healing people who were sick and witchhunting.

i think evolution states that fish came first, then birds/reptiles, then mammals. if you look in Genesis, the story pretty much follows the same road.
@onsolidrok "science will win because science works", what science can do are more certain and reliable then faith, when you pray for a patient how often do they actually get healed? But when a doctor apply his medical knowledge which are acquired and examined strictly by scientific method - he is more likely to survive( try it yourself :) - if not , at least he is able to reduce the pain or relieve the patient.

This makes the ride rocky, but like anything worth doing, it gives its own reward (Romans 5 goes through this). The universe exists. It is not infinitely old or it would have run out of energy long ago. Therefore, it had a beginning. It did not come to existence out of nothing. Something which does not exist cannot create itself. Since the universe was brought into existence by something else, I assert that God is the one Who created the universe.

@777notw i think this is very fishy and tricky. a story is made, and events are written down, and the writers say to just have faith these things happen, i think thats what someone would say if they knew it didnt really happen and they knew people would research it and see it didnt happen. so its like the writers of the bible are already defending themselves in advance and setting it up where it can be defended against no matter what.

@jubjubmh316 The authors of the Gospels were eyewitnesses to the events they wrote about. The Apostle Paul had a life-changing encounter with Jesus Himself. These early writers were willing to die for what they knew was true; and, many did die for their faith. How much more proof do you need? Archeological evidence has been produced placing biblical towns, etc. where the Bible says they were. "Now faith is the assurance of things hoped for, the conviction of things not seen." (Rom 11:1)
@jubjubmh316 There's a book by a guy named Lee Strobel called "The Case for Christ." Might I suggest that you get your hands on a copy and read it with an open mind. There is also another book called "Evidence That Demands a Verdict" by Josh McDowell. If you are truly open to Him, Jesus will reveal Himself to you as real.

Jesus would never do the things that some are doing. When the religious leaders of His day questioned Him about paying taxes, He responded by saying "Render to Caesar the things that are Caesars." We are called to be obedient to those in authority over us. I try to live that way, but not if it goes against God's Word.

Instead, compare them to bands like Red, Skillet, Hawk Nelson, etc. In today's agnostic/pluralistic society, people could care less for a band that glorifies God. However, I believe Kutless is doing just fine for the Christian Rock/Pop market (smash singles like "Sea of Faces" and "What Faith Can Do" prove that)

@MultiWillable Correction, the way to live in peace is to fully allow Jesus to move into our hearts to sit on the throne of our hearts. We aren't meant to "fix" others, only God can do that but he can accomplish that through us. If you ignore everything, you are stopping God from being able to possibly bring another person to Him and therefore possibly causing another soul to be lost. I do like your science comment :)

I do not dislike Christianity in general, I have lots of christians and catholics friends who I respect and it really just comes down to the point of difference of opinion which makes me an atheist. But is the ignorance that some Christians have to modern science that really bother me, just a word of advice if you guys keep a more open mind to what's going on to this world it will make evangelism much easier, don't just always go "oh they hate us becuz of Jesus" , try to be critical.

Monkeys are only 93% same dna sequence instead what they though 99.8%. What is funnier about this is yeast what you use for bread has a dna sequence of 95.7 identical to us. I am very certain I did not come from yeast last time I check. I am human and that is that.

If you reject the reliability of a scientific explanation or discoveries base purely based on the fact that it is "only a theory", you should not believe that your phone would work when you try to call someone , and your printer would print things out when after you hit the print button.

@jubjubmh316 Each person has a choice. That's true. Remember, it's man's choice to sin and, therefore, unless he repents and accepts God's free gift of salvation, he will spend eternity in hell. His choice, not God's. God is not willing that any should perish. God is just. Sin deserves a penalty. What kind of God would He be if he did not punish sin? Just like a judge...what kind of judge would let a child rapist go free after he was found guilty? What would people think of that judge?

@777notw i can understand that because it is impossible to get something out of nothing. but i try not to assume anything, and if i do assume something it is based off the research i have done and its what i think to be the truth. i dont assume god to not be real because i hate him or whatever, rather i have looked at historical documents, events, and historians themselves, and i dont think there is any solid evidence that jesus existed. am i supposed to just assume god and jesus existed?

The universe exists. It is not infinitely old or it would have run out of energy long ago. Therefore, it had a beginning. It did not come to existence out of nothing. Something which does not exist cannot create itself. Since the universe was brought into existence by something else, I assert that God is the one Who created the universe.

@777notw and that makes it even more messed up, because not only am i supposed to have faith and assume god exists, im supposed to assume that the bible is true and that if i do not believe or accept it i will burn in hell. im burning in hell for not believing in something which i have found no evidence of even being true in the first place. if i have found no evidence for jesus, or god, then why should i believe in anything the bible says?

@777notw i think this is very fishy and tricky. a story is made, and events are written down, and the writers say to just have faith these things happen, i think thats what someone would say if they knew it didnt really happen and they knew people would research it and see it didnt happen. so its like the writers of the bible are already defending themselves in advance and setting it up where it can be defended against no matter what.

@777notw i have written alot i hope u read it all lol but one last thing. what i would consider evidence for jesus. well if many historians witnessed these events first hand and wrote about them, if certain events that took place in the bible matched what happened in real life. if certain locations were verified from the bible. i mean i know i havent researched everything, but if someone can present me with these things im asking i would certainly have my eyes open for jesus. but untill then...

@jubjubmh316 The authors of the Gospels were eyewitnesses to the events they wrote about. The Apostle Paul had a life-changing encounter with Jesus Himself. These early writers were willing to die for what they knew was true; and, many did die for their faith. How much more proof do you need? Archeological evidence has been produced placing biblical towns, etc. where the Bible says they were. "Now faith is the assurance of things hoped for, the conviction of things not seen." (Rom 11:1)

@jubjubmh316 There's a book by a guy named Lee Strobel called "The Case for Christ." Might I suggest that you get your hands on a copy and read it with an open mind. There is also another book called "Evidence That Demands a Verdict" by Josh McDowell. If you are truly open to Him, Jesus will reveal Himself to you as real.
I'm not saying that you are one of them, but there are many who, even with all kinds of evidence given to them would still not believe. Goes back to presuppositions, I guess.

@777notw yeah, we can be presented with the same facts just interpret them differently, depending on what we believe. Honestly tho, my main issue is trying to get Ron Paul into the white house. He is a major christian and has christian values. But it doesnt bother me because his views and ideas represent what i want and millions of other people want. So fuck it we can all just be peaceful, i just dont agree with christianity being used to get out of paying taxes, used in the court room, ect..

@jubjubmh316 I really appreciate the fact that you are being honest. If you don't agree with Christianity, that's fine. I, too, don't agree with many things that some Christians. Jesus would never do the things that some are doing. When the religious leaders of His day questioned Him about paying taxes, He responded by saying "Render to Caesar the things that are Caesars." We are called to be obedient to those in authority over us. I try to live that way, but not if it goes against God's Word.
