Forza 3 was better than GT5 in some ways so  Forza 4 will be better than GT5 in so many ways. However, you can't compare the two because the came out almost a year a apart so GT5 will now look out of date. The only real way to compare these two games is if Forza 5 and GT6 are released at the same time.

GT5 a visual masterpiece...especially the premium cars. But the sound makes me mad because its just as important and GT5 is found wanting in that respect. Forza 3 should be ashamed of the interior design but they got the sound bang on, especially the up-shifts. Their is a video comparing the R8 sound btwn forza & GT5...my mouth was watering when I listened to forza while my blood boiled at the dying cow GT5 tired to pass as the Audi's v10.

I love how every car in Forza doesn't shift like it should. In real life, and GT5, the transmission shifts seamlessly. In Forza it seems slow.

GT5 rapes Forza 3 in the graphics but it seems Forza 3 has better sound. I can't wait to see what PD does with GT6. It seems GT5 was rushed in many ways. Still my favorite driving sim but there are things that need perfecting.

@MCobraProductions dvd format has nothing to do with it as most games don't even abuse the fuul potential of blu ray on ps3, forza hardly looks like dog shit it just doesn't look as good as GT does. If PD wanted to abuse the power of blu ray all cars should have been premium. If you really want to compare the graphics of 2 games that have spent 6 years in production compare forza 4 to this as the 3 forzas to release on the 360 will have a combined cycle of 6 years. And it looks incredible

@hellfire6333 It defintely has improved from FM3's interior. Environment is better too, but the cartoonish look it has to it is still there. The thing is colors POP too much. That's what makes the graphics cartoony. I don't think there's a stock G37 (just a 2006 Concept) in GT5 but there's a G37 from SEMA 2008. It's suped up like hell and G37's are CRAZYYYY when they're tuned.

@hellfire6333 Some gameplay videos of FM4 at E3 show cockpit view. There were some cars that looked great, like the Buick i think. But some others didn't really looked improved. The materials of the interior look sterile and rubbery as I said. Do you just use a controller?

@C0M0estas no, i use a wheel for PS3 but a controller for xbox.. i dun really play the xbox.. but well. some cars in forza looks ok???? but some they didnt even try making it look good.. like.. G37 is awful.. but porsche GT3 looks... ok-ish? but compare to GT5... it really does look like a car... but i guess the only difference really is the environment.. car wise.. premium cars for GT5 jz beats forza, however the other ones probably need more improvement.

@hellfire6333 To me, I think they have been improving the standard cars. The standard cars seem to have better detailed headlights and better light reflections than before. Back in December, the creator, Kaz, said they were going to be updating some standards to premium because there are some classics that he said should be premium. I really do think a lot of the cars we have been getting through the Online Car Dealership are the ones that are going to be updated. No point expecting that though.

Forza 3's sls sounds ok, but not accurate, too over dub. Especially the shifting sound. GT5 got it just right, and spot on, on the semi automatic trans..
