@RewindzCA Definately not antec, the 1200 is a terrible case in comparison to the HAF X. I would suggest looking into the raven for style or HAF for funcionality.

@RewindzCA if you want a really good quality case, check out the cooler master storm trooper (full tower, HAF X successor) or the corsair 500r (midtower) or the corsair 600t (midtower aswell). The shinobi is really a budget case that imo lacks a lot of features. The raven is unique in design but there isnt that many features aswell. The storm trooper is excellent at everything. The 500r does everything aswell except for 4way SLI/crossfire and the same could be said about the 600t.

I have this case for my build & it has the best air-flow design ever. It keeps my GPU cool.. lots of space even with 360mm radiator on top. I highly recommend it even tho it isn't the best looking case.

my only complaint about the haf x is that the usb 3 plugs are actually just extension cables instead of something you can plug into the motherboard (REALLY GAY!) i used the watercooling holes to my advantage here tho and am using it as an extension for my rear usb3 port.

Love this case. Had a bit of a problem with the side panel hitting my sata power connector, but that was my PSU's inflexibility and eventually i got all three drives nice and tucked.

This case is worth the cash even for a normal ATX MOBO.

This video convinced me to buy this case. I wish it came with more options as to front fan LED colour...or that the LEDs were replacable so you could swap the colour. But I ordered the case and as someone wisely suggested, get a matching ( red ) 200mm fan and put it in the side intake and move the LED-less stock side intake to the top...it would look weird with one LED fan on top and one non LED fan.

The fans are supersilent.

But unfortunately they released a new version of the haf x 2 days after i bought mine (again: i cried). It has a real usb3.0 header for the mobo and the cables near the front-top 200m are pre-routed around the hole. (alot of people were complaining about the cables being in the way)

@MrTesterm Dude, I LOVE my HAF X. It's way heavy though so if you have to take it up the stairs anywhere it might be a hassle. I still think it's worth it though. Lots of bells and whistles and if there's a nuclear bomb about to drop near you well you can just jump right in the case and be safe. :D

I do know a few people who have the Phantom and they love it. It comes down to personal preference.

This is NOT an ad, but if you want to go to overclock(.)net, they have lots of others with help :D

@MrTesterm It has awesome airflow PLUS you can manage the cables very well. It made almost a 10°C difference in temperatures with my build. My GTX 580 only gets up to like 63°C while doing folding@home; idle it stays under 40°C, and that's without the high-airflow bracket or the back plate. I bought this case recently and have to say it was a very easy install. My only complaint is the HDD holders. I accidentally tried to put one in backwards, and it almost broke taking it out. Then I put one in normally and it still almost broke. Maybe I'm just doing it wrong, but overall a great case.
