What do I love the most about the sound of the Corvette? The sound of private ownership, but GM sold out to agencies of the U.S. government 2 years later. I used to be a Chevy guy. Ford asked for no assistance through TARPm and turned a $2 billion profit last year. Good on 'em!

@fanofdiesel We hear the engine through the onboard camera, but if you are at the track and watch the car pass by, all you hear is the tires gripping the asphalt and the air rushing around the car over the nearly unAUDIble (pun intended) exhaust note.

Aston Martin racing was stronger than Corvette Racing in 2006 in ALMS but Corvette win Le Mans so the season was good for Corvette.

These cars are production-based so if you were to take a GT1 or GT2 car and try to drive on a regular street, it IS illegal, if you were to get one from the shop and it not be tweaked as much as it is, then of course it is not illegal.

the C6R's have in the region of 570-620bhp, and they have a lot more torque than the aston martin V12 engine and a beautiful sound from the C6R's, it literally shakes the windows in buildings, amazing.
