  • very cute

  • Omg cute dog

  • Such a great breed. The guy in the video looks like a gangster though.

  • so adorable mine just turned one about a month ago that first year just flies by

  • OMG that is the cutest cute puppy ever!! i recently adopted a 3 year old blue heeler from someone who has passed and im enjoying his company greatly! i was just looking to see what he may have looked like as a puppy... OH they r soo cute!!!

  • ADORABLE! (and tiny) :)

  • They are good guard dogs

  • @wevor4tard yer I want one as I was brought up with working dogs I want one to stick with me! Is it really defensive over you?

  • I got a blue heeler as a family dog.

Not a god idea, he sticks to me and only me like glue.

  • TOO CUTE ...how is he doing today?

  • aweee!! he is so little!! that ball is bigger than him!

  • your right there is nothing wrong with bringing home a 5week old puppy (health wise) the only thing that is a problem will be dog socializing the puppy. Puppies learn alot from there litter mates and how to play with other dogs when they are with them it makes a dog more confident around other dogs and not dog agressive. A good dog breeder ACD or not will not let a puppy go till at least 8-9weeks. Again im not saying what you did was wrong just the breeder who sold the pup to you.

  • aw such a fat puppy. I remember when my heeler was a pup, and had that baby fat- we called her 'pig dog'. She's a voracious eater now so she lived up to her nickname.

  • That puppy is so precious, the guy is gorgeous :)

  • I love my dog Roxi, who loves me and keeps me company after losing my 15 1/2 year old dalmatian who died this past july(bless her heart),blue heelers are loyal and will stay with you to the ends of the earth.

  • OMG!!! SOOOO CUTE!!!!!!!!

  • Blue Heelers are the best dogs ever. Just sayin'.

  • OMG!!! SOOOO CUTE

  • I have a blueheeler...they are amazing

  • "too smart for his own good. Definitely a "velcro" breed. Always stick with you. " SOOOOOOOOOO True. Great Dogs, can't see myself going for another breed!

  • awh he must be real cute now that hes all grown up

  • its called focus, use it

  • i have a blue heeler mixed with a valley bulldog its funny cuz he acted like ur dog when he was a puppy

  • We had a blue heeler (smithfield) for 13 years. Se passed away at 13, but she was such a good dog. We are gettig a pup of te same breed of a breeder in qld. Cant wait

  • cute as!

  • i thought dogs couldn't be adopted at 5 weeks, at least legally. that's too soon to take them away from the mother.

  • Those dogs are sooo smart

  • he's soooo cute!!! Lol, he keeps falling over!

  • I have one that is four years old and his name is Jeffrey he is so cute! : )

  • i have had levi my acd for 11 years now and hes still playful and energetic

  • Mine is 8 motns old and loves playing frisbee. I am going to work on soccer next.

  • I'm getting a 9 month old one from an animal shelter this week :) so excited

  • lol i craked up whn he tripped over his foot

  • i have one but hes not a puppy anymore hes 9

  • hahaha i love how the little guy stumbles in the very beginning

  • yeh he is so cute

  • Australian Cattle Dogs I believe are the best breed of dog ever, so loyal and loving. But I hate it when the Yanks dock their tails!!!! Like what the hell for??? They use their tails for balance! Plus they have awesome looking bushy tails

  • @cheekywun True, but I used to own a blue cattle dog when I was very young, and his tail used to wqrap around toward his food when he used to eat, and he one day caught it and chewed a quarter of it off. Sometimes it's good to get their tails stumped

  • @skatingsetmestraight I agree that there are some circumstances where tails need to be dock (injuries to the tail etc) but there is absolutely no other reason to dock a dogs tail especially a Australian Cattle Dog.

  • I hate that too, but this "yank" has only seen one like that. One too many i'll add!

  • aww :) Cute. He's so pudgy too!!

  • these dogs are so cute, even when they r full grown but i have had two and im getting a puppy this summer and i have to admitt i miss the cute puppy stages! :)

  • There is just nothing cuter than a cow dog! What a sweet puppy!

  • I had a red healer. He was one of the sweetest and most loyal dogs anyone could ever want.

  • cute little packet

  • om!!! so cute

  • Indeed a cute dishlicker. You'll have many good years with that one...

  • ACDs are the best breed ever! My bitch, Shelby was almost human-like in her actions. Do yourself a favor and get to know this breed. But be warned, they aren't for shy, timid dog owners. This is a man's dog and require a consistent, strong alpha presence.

  • at first when i saw the name of the video and i was all like "yeah right, cutest?" but now i am amazed! OMG so sweet.

  • Damn i miss my heeler Clyde! best dog i ever had saved my life!

  • australian cattle dogs r awesome i had one for a long long time

  • aww he's so cute x3 I just recently got two blue heeler puppies, Jaxx and Dingo XD but I find this little guy a bit cuter then them, but I still love 'em

  • aww I got my blue heeler when she was that old too! Except she didn't chase a ball, she liked to chase the lambs every time she got. Her name is Zelda.

  • lol!cute!

  • So cute! :D

  • Smartest, most beautiful dog in the world

  • awwe i've got a red heeler! they are such smart dogs

  • awe adorable!! were thinking of getting a blue heeler puppy. I saw one in the papper so decided to look them up, and they are adorable!!!!!!!!

  • aww...so gawjuz

  • What a nice puppy! How is the dog doing today? Do you practice any sport or obedience training with the dog? And how come that you could take a FIVE week old puppy home???

  • Since I have a home office, and this is a very smart breed, he was ready to go home as soon as he was weened. Never cried once. Matter of fact I can't remember a time he's cried period. Tough breed. Great frisbee dog, working steers occasionally, sometimes too smart for his own good. Definitely a "velcro" breed. Always stick with you.

  • That is the cutest freakin' cattle puppy!

  • o my gosh that dog is so precious i would love to have a dog that breed not sure what breed it is can anyone tell me?

  • Australian Cattle Dog

  • or most people call them Blue Heeler, but Australian Cattle Dog is right too,

  • But there's also Red Heelers! <3

    =]

  • ohh lol yes there is, and there adorable too!! =D

  • wow, i have a year and a half heeler and that reminds me of when he was a puppy.

  • is so cute

  • cute puppy

  • I have an australian cattle dog puppy she is so cute =)

  • oh wow! he is definitely cute!... the dog is absolutely adorable too

  • kool as kool

  • Ohhhhh my god.

    I hate you.

    I am so jealous.

  • That pup is as cute as a hamster. ACD dogs can be very useful for all sorts of things, everyone knows like herding, but they can also be used as tracking dogs, for that reason, to track down escaped convicts and fugitives.

  • its so cute.

  • that is officially the cutest thing i've evr seen. holy crap.

  • If you can spend every day with your blue heeler as a puppy, there is nothing better than making him your companion as soon as they are weened onto solid food. Heeler's are extremely intelligent, bonding members of the family and clearly understand their role away from the litter and as part of your home and companion from day one.

He never looked back & he has never cried, even till now. These aren't labs or boxers, these are Blue Heeler's.

  • dont worry i agree kashankirk these people commenting have no idea unless they own a cattle dog, we own two and what you say is very very true...

  • nice dog

  • Remember NOT to buy a puppy before it´s 8 weeks old.

  • Don't get one & don't comment if you don't understand cattle dogs or owners who can more than accomodate a fully weened puppy.

An arbitrary 8 weeks ignores differences in breeds, owners, & dogs.

Personally, I always get my dogs as soon as they are on solid food. These are not labradoodles. Heeler's are very accomodating to this, especially compared to non working breeds.

Then again I worked at home and the dog could spend every hour with me. He has never been caged, ever.

  • In my lifetime, ive owned 4 cattle dogs and i hardly think they are a danger to me or you-ya just gotta find the one that youoverlook more than the others you want to choose

  • Aww I want a puppy but my two year old red heeler is more than enough right now.

  • I want a puppy now!

but i have a grown up puppy so i have to deal!

  • im getting a blue heeler pup tomorrow

  • awe!

  • Nice video, I've added it to our forum

  • its so cute

  • I have a blue heeler shes the best dog ever

  • Cute heeler puppy!

I love ACDs.. they are the smartest, most loyal, and devoted dogs that I know of.

    Heelers rule!!

  • LOL @ last two tags.

I have a Blue Heeler as well. If I don't walk her in the evening, she will just keep barking. GAH!

  • i cried when i saw this

  • Just a heads up, these dogs do like to nip at peoples ankels especially. Thats my personal experience with them. I had an incident where mine nipped a cheerleader on the leg at a football game. cost me a medical bill. LOL

But man are they smart and very easy to train!

  • I'm on my second cattle dog (Blue Heeler)...and I'll have one til the day I die!

  • im getting one! well, i MIGHT! they are so sweet!

  • I did mean healing. Sorry for the misunderstanding. However, in the hands of an inexperienced owner, this can develop into a serious issue. This is where my comments were aimed, as many people will see your cute puppy and fall in love.

  • *Collapses* So cute!

  • they are such an awesome breed of a dog, I remember when my 5 year old was that small, too cute!

  • Whoa! Could he be any fatter? Darling!

  • THAT WAS SO CUTE!!!!!!!!!

  • soo cute :D

  • that is the cutest thing ive ever seen in my entire human life

  • That's not a heeler....

That's the very similar 'melbourne fatty'

  • you would have no idea what kind of dog that is by looking at it.

the dogs are determined from the mixes not what they look like.

  • "Melbourne Fatty" refers to it being a city dog (i.e. fat and pudgy) not the actual breed...

  • You know... I have to tell you that this is the most energetic 5 weeks old pup that I've seen so far.... Very Very active... look at him how he runs after the big ball... LOL!

  • eeeek! that is the cutest puppy i've ever seen!

  • really cute dog bub

  • OMG! How adorable!

  • Blue heelers are the best dogs in the world!

  • i have 1 her parents are show dogs!!

  • so cute it remindes me of my old dog buzz

  • hot guy...how old???

  • 5week :-)

  • Nice! :-) How old is puppy?

  • I had one for 10 years she was great. great video brought back memories.

  • Oh my Lord tht has to be one of the cuttest pups ive ever seeen aw

    <3MaryEllis

  • cute puppy.. i have one of my own.. Lily, gorgeous lil' things blue heelers are.. the ones here in australia look better than the american ones coz most of the american ones aren't purebred..

  • that really is the Cutest Cute Puppy Australian Cattle Dog Blue Heeler ever! I love it when he falls over! 5/5 stars :D

  • Makes me reminisce about my cattle dog (now 7yrs old) when he was a pup. Your dog reminds me of my Austin. Just So darn cute, chubby.

  • Oh how gorgeous, your heeler is very white! But it'll surely lose some of that as it grows.

I have a heeler of my own called Poppy :) She has a wonderful nature.

  • @inkozana all heelers are born white, they grow into their colours as they get older.

  • i dont think i have seen nething so cute in all my friggin life

  • You can see the herding instincts already coming 'round.

  • my blue heeller jumps up and bites the cows tail and swings on it

  • Duz anyone know where i can buy or adopt a blue heeler acd inthe UK. I live near london.

  • I have two Cattle dogs, they are the best!

  • Of course, 8 weeks is the standard, and you can get away with 7(which I believe to be the PERFECT time to aquire one and start training).....but 5 weeks? Wow. Hope everything went o.k. for you. That's a cute lil poochy ya got there btw. Peace.

  • that's a chubby little dog. 0:50 the puppy looks evil

  • Very cute puppy! That ball is in for it in a few weeks, though! Make sure you train the' "Bite 'Em" outta him, or your guests will be Heeled through the house!

  • I just adopted a 10 month old cattle dog from the humane society and he does the same thing with a soccer ball. Makes me really want a real baby dog watching this though.

  • "Bite him ... Bite him good." So funny.

  • Funny, but not when he gets older....

Cattles are already very mouthy, its not such a great idea to let them chew on people. The younger they start, the harder it is to stop.

Very cute though, but 5 weeks is very young! Hopefully they have the mother with the other puppies as well...

  • They are called heelers for a reason, and that also means they don't "bite" hard. You don't have to train a dog to cut a herd, you train the breed to not hurt the livestock (unlike a wolf). "Gumming" my hand doesn't mean he will be poorly trained like your dogs. The breed has nothing to do w/ biting.

  • Herd that ball! What a great ACD.
