I dont know if people are still looking for a way to play this game, but you can get an emulator called dosbox and download this and almost any other vintage game from this era that you might like to try.
It's the 2nd track of the Amiga CD32 version like most games CDs at the time the CDDA tracks after the 2nd track are normally playable on a normal cd player just don't play track 1 (the actual game) cuz that might blow your speakers if it's too loud (sounds like radio noise)
I found my CD in the basement but it is somewhat scratched so I'm gonna take a look if I find it on the net but the odds are pretty low. If you get there first remeber to put it up here. I remember romchina had a paid service with CD32 games, no idea if it still exists
When he uses the bombs, on the Amiga version you got a perfectly circular crater, but on this the bombs just disappear. It was always quite a laugh on two player this game (I played the Amiga version).
This game was released an Amiga, Jaguar and DOS (the video version). It's not too hard to find and sorry I cannot give you any hint to where, just Google it.
This is one of the games that makes me want a Jaguar collection not all the games on Jag where bad but this one i might be able to dosbox my WINAUE is not playing it from the CD for the Amiga version very well gets to the title screen only ...
ha ha dude me too! wasn't it just an awesome game ??
the game brings back so many memories, so many nostalgic times... watching this has upset me. its not as exciting as it was 12 years ago back when i was a kiddo. i honestly loved EVERYTHING about the game. felt like complete freedom. it was my big bro's game, and on a day when i wasnt at school i'd sneak into his room and play it, he's always been a hero of mine... oh god ive gotten all emo on you guys, forgive me !!
man, this brings back memories!! i loved this game when i was young. was my dad way of making me enjoy American football (he'd tell me passing plays etc. while i played this, then madden)

Didn't draws lead to 'injury time', or was it 'penalty shootout'?

The Amiga CD32 Version is by far the best... The recorded guitar solo track I used for a long time as wake up alarm on my CD player!

This game looks like a 2-D Blood Bowl. But, I'll admit, they're BOTH awesome football games!

HI
From whick System is 2-D Blood Bowl could you help me?
Lorrer09 2 years ago
It's on PC-CD-ROM only. And, to play it, you need DOS-Box.

This is a top game for the amiga, loads of fun.

There really should be remakes of this and Speedball on the new consoles. It'd be epic.
badongism 3 years ago
There's a remake of Speedball, I think it's called Speedball Tournament, but I played the demo onde and it was horrible, stick with oldschool ;)

is there any way to play other than vikings...?
loopofpoop 3 years ago
Nope, not even on Amiga or Jaguar version you can. Tried to mess with the game files but didn't have success.

What system is this on?
I own the one for the Atari Jaguar.
Good game.
SigurdKonig 3 years ago
It's the PC version, I played the Jaguar version too, and the graphics of it is much better.
In the PC version, every "viking" is grayed and the game is kinda choppy.
There are some people that I know that get dizzy and ill while playing it!

Thanks for the response bud!
Much appreciated.
I am gonna go throw in some BSF!!

I used to play kick the living crap out of the other team way more than I played any actual football.
