It is up to you which one to use. But I can confidently tell you if you drive by Redlex van with a Snooper it will not produce a single sound. My Redline catching Redflex 300 meters away aproaching the back of radar
The Snooper 3Zero will give a visual alert if the GPS alert is going off. If the camera is live there will be a indication on the screen that tells you so. You should really learn how to use these devices if you are going to conduct these test.
ofcourse it wont pick up a radar signature from a camera facing away from the snooper. christ. nobody is scared of rear facing gatsos, its the forward facing truvelos/specs that catches everyone out. not to mention coppers in vans etc. if you cant spot a rear facing camera from at least 100m away, you should pay more attention.
Try Trapster guys it's a free app for any phone or Sat Nav works really well I love using this app has saved my ass a few time. Go to Trapster and give it a try you have notting to lose and it's free. If you don't want to get any speeding tickets.
The same principle applies – as camera is in the database the 3zero will ignore it , it knows the location and it knows the direction. Why would you want an alert to a Gasto facing you? Check out the distance of a camera NOT on the database
Have you looked at the Snooper 3 Zero (Autolumex) on YouTube which i think is in Russia.
I think this is not fair test, 3 Zero is picking up the camera via its GPS database (at a greater distance than the Redline unit) but it then beeps 'after the camera' because it is no longer picking it up using GPS, only Radar - This shows the accuracy of both the camera plotting and the 3 Zero's GPS.
GPS will always take precedent over Radar .If camera is not on the Database then the detection via K band would be increased- this reduces the amount of false alerts.
A fair test would be to mount the Snooper at the same height as the Redline as RADAR has a way better pick up the higher it goes (the wipers as well will block the snooper pickup as well). Try and turn off the GPS on the Snooper as well, although I'm pretty confident the snooper will suck.
A Lot of other factors as well to take note RADAR can bounce (ghost) off other cars as well and give much better performance then that of an empty road!
@eire05jamtests I tried Snooper beside the mirror as well with the same result. I wouldn't rely on it to detect Multanovas from now. Ttraffic was much the same during these tests

@toonymccann Its up to you mate but from my experience 3Zero is useless against low powered K bands. Multanova van behind the bush will have you cold.
Autolumex show great videos about Snooper because they are distributors in Russia and as far as I know there are no Multanovas in Russia yet.

3 zero has saved me!!

@toonymccann There is another test on my channel. You can see yourself that 3Zero is a way behind Redline

Do you have any other tests using the Snooper 3Zero?
