I agree; this is a very, very strange choice for Kup repaint, and tat face is so bland it'd shame a G1. I imagine it's a case of trading on the popularity of the character rather than the quality of the toy. 5*

Man, I've been hankering for a new Kup for the longest time, and when they finally make one, he's a) an exclusive I'll probably never be able to get, and b) a repaint/mold of a toy that...really doesn't have anything really Kuppish(?) about it.

You're right about Cannonball though. He was actually the first transformer I bought when I started collecting again.
