His messianic age is a repudiation of Christ. Let's analyze the facts, the Natural World cannot give a Messianic Age, because people will live and die, wars will be, disasters will be, Lions will always eat the lambs. Why ? Because God made the world this way and to expect it to be otherwise is imaginary. Jesus Christ is the only Messiah ,because it is a spiritual kingdom that is specifically not of this world and then takes us to the expectations of the end of the Natural World to another
I'm a Christian, and I (hate to) agree with the Rabbi.
I think the Messianic Age presaged with "nation against nation, kingdom against kingdom", famines and war, is about to happen.
It scares the crap out of me, but a global breakdown is headed our way, and in its wake will be anarchic wars, and famines in the places most dependant on the global food/fertilizer markets.
Israel will be in a horrible position, and those who live there should "flee to the mountains."
How do you calculate that we now live in the period or timeframe of 5,765 years? Bishop Usher calculated that the Creation goes back to 4004 BC, so we are already past the 6,000 year period!
When you read in the Bible about the latter part of this "Messianic Period" I hope to God you FEAR God when judgement rains down on those basically "opposed to israel".... UNLESS you mean the Crusaders are going to come back and BE the new "Israel" ....AS IF.
But seriously my fellow Christian give me a source to your way of thinking (another youtube video or site) for I am curious.

A Messiah was here: Jesus the Nazerene, one branch of a tree. Closer to what god? The malevoelnce of Genocide as a beacon of light for mankind to follow into the spirituall abyss of darkness?
