  • Fat Man & Little Boy had only a fraction of the power of this.....

  • in a world of mindnumming pop and moneymakers without souls...... there is still light at the end of the tunnel and its name is Trent Reznor!!

  • fucking amazing.

  • its either the audience is stunned or is full of deaf people

  • TRENT'S VOICE IN AMAZING!!!

  • Audience sucks but this song is fucking HEAVY!

  • It must be tough being so heavy

  • The audience is deaf or what the fuck is this shit? amazing band, amazing song, amazing sound and they don't move!

  • dissapointed that drummer ended up with angels and airwaves. whatever pays the bills i guess. talk about a downgrade! waste of talent.

  • Hell yeah, so heavy! Great quality too

  • @siegeartifact I saw them for the Fragile tour in St. Louis at an outdoor arena. APC opened, right in the middle of Judith a giant storm we had all been watching roll in just opened on is all.

Basic seating was in the open on grass (quickly mud) and the pricey seats were covered.

I've never seen a more compassionate fan base in my life. As soon as the rain hit, the pricey seaters let the cheap seaters share the cover. Trent actually praised the audience and vowed to play as long as we were comf

  • Robin's vocals are amazing at the end! I guess after years of NIN boot camp and touring as well as his little bout with G'n'R, that dude has some serious vocal chops. As well as guitar, synth and style points... I see why Trent wanted him back.

  • awful crowd.typical for the us shows.

  • NIN in daylight? Things have changed for the worse.

  • awesome! One of my favorite NIN songs from Broken

  • that mics his bitch.

  • wow...to the earlier comment about Timebomb...I have much respect for Sully Erna, but the verse of Timebomb is a near flagrant rip-off...even the vocal inflection...also to the earlier comment about Last v. Timebomb...Last in my opinion is clearly heavier, was written first, and clearly better

  • Fucking sick. I'd kill to see NIN live. Why does the crowd seem so still and mellow though?

  • fucking sick. I'd kill to see NIN live.

  • Stadium has nothing but seats so it's pretty hard for them to mosh/go crazy. (read it from previous post.

  • It's really sad that what's needed these days for crowd to move is tits and drugs. People should kinda wake up a little. Or a little more than that. I mean, isn't tits all over the internet already enough? This is art ffs... even tits should be only in the context of art, only. Listen to the lyrics and enjoy the music...

  • Alright!

  • no one's playing bass here??!!

  • ut most respect for nin, they are bad ass no question. sounds the kinda the same as timebomb godsmack which blows this song away

  • @teclec Last was made in 92 and Timebomb around 96!

  • @teclec Time Bomb is a tribute to this. I equally enjoy both.

  • ააააააააააააააააააა!

  • amazing!

  • NININININININININININ!

  • "GO!"

  • Nin fans like to enjoy the show by watching.

Nin Live is mezmorizing great shows!

  • @C0RPSI definitely professionals

  • @everythingstakensux Fuck yeah!

  • what the fuck version of last is this? what the fuck happened to reznor? who is this band? because it sure isn't nine inch nails

  • @spites1 wtf are u talkin about?? are u deaf or something??? this performance fukin rules.

  • @spites1 what?!? how

  • @spites1 reznor is NIN

  • A panzer division could creep up on that gig and no one would hear them !

  • Crowd getting old is a lame excuse. I've seen Bad Religion and Slayer in the last few months and their pits were some of the best I've been in for years, people were going bonkers.

  • "Gave up trying to figure it out but my head got lost along the way"

  • Fuck. If this was played at the concert I went to, I would've gone mental.

  • WTF some comments here make me question if some of you guys where ever NIN fans.Damn have some respect for the band.

  • @therecoveryroom. lmao. indeed rip nin. where did the angry trent go. hes all soft now. what a nub.

  • Thank god!...that was a horrible tour. his voice is roached....cmon....cmon.....what the fuck is thatt........R.I. P NIN

  • its like Dawn Of The Dead, the crowd I mean (you cant hear the zombie groaning noises over the awsome music)

  • @Diarm0 That's what happens when your core audience grows up.

  • @Artem1sEntreri Does growing up mean you have to be boring? I'm going to love this song until I die.

  • @Idkfawin32 You must've misunderstood me. I'm A HUGE NIN fan and I can listen to the songs for hours and hours on end. All I'm saying is that when you have a band that's been around for a relatively long time, long enough for its initial audience to age considerably, it's normal for that audience not to behave the same way they did 20 years ago. Does not moshing, not throwing stuff around and not flailing your extremities like a hummingbird on crack constitute a boring person in your opinion?

  • @Artem1sEntreri

    yap,maybe:)

  • 37 people shud go watch other videos if they dont like NIN (crazy right? not liking NIN)

  • SHITTY CROWD

  • @hippotoast No they just don't know how to react to that level of awesomeness, their brains are frozen...

  • one can only hope the crowd are not zombies, but just stunned into silence by the sheer awesomeness of this show

  • Pigs =)

  • Robin Finck is a beast.

  • HEY!! PROOF, REAL PERFORMING ARTISTS EXIST!!!!! THIS SONG SOUNDS BETTER IN QUALITY AND ROCK STANDARD NOW MORE THAN THEN........ LADIES AND GENTLEMEN, OUR NAILS ARE HAMMERING ON....

  • this is awesome, my dad saw these guys on the pretty hate machine tour when he was stationed in japan in the late 80's and i got to see em in 2008 when i was 13. glad i got to see them before they stopped touring

  • YEEEEEEEEEEEEAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHH!!!

  • I came, in 1080p.

  • I'm hard!

  • I really want them to cover "Safety Dance" for some strange reason.

  • I can tell you why no one is moshing... it's cause they're all in shock thinking "holy shit!! they're really playing Last!!!", I know I would be.

  • WITH BEATS THIS HEAVY. WHO NEEDS TO MOSH?? AND THE SOUND IS A STAMPEDE CAUSED BY THE EARTHQUAKE SHAKING THE DEMONS FREE FROM NIN....nuff said?? AND WE NEVER GROW UP....THANKS TO THE MUSIC.....

  • they're moshing in spirit

    :p

  • This was a rad show. . . I'm really happy I was there. >:)

  • The audience looks like they're watching a Vivaldi concerto.

  • @abstractconclusion Seems to be a common with a lot of NIN shows in the states, or any shows in massive arenas around the globe. The shows they've had in the UK in the smaller venues in '05, '07 and '08 were all pretty fucking mental, I can put truth to that. Also worth bearing in mind that a lot of NIN's crowd consists of the older generation who were fans from the begininng, who don't necessarily want to go mental like us young'uns.

Either way, Nine Inch Nails live is one hell of a show.

  • @abstractconclusion I dislocated my knee seeing them in 2000 in Australia, and cracked a rib in 07.

    Crowds here are fucking insane.

  • @abstractconclusion agree. i was at their concert in Poland and then i felt my bones for two weeks - at NIN's gig you must jump, kick, scream, FEEL THAT ENERGY!

  • Ilan Rubin is a freaking beast.

  • LAST but not least need more NIN

  • 36 people just got out of the closet xD

  • THIS IS RIGHT NOW! comecomeco...

  • i was at this show, nin kicks ass, i'll miss seeing them on tour!!!!

  • grab anyone who steps outside the line. For example I saw a guy down the row from me throw a bottle of water. Not that he should be allowed to throw anything, but two security guards came and apprehended him. Anyway, the point is, given the type of venue, the most movement anyone in the crowd can do there is stand up. Thats pretty much it. Maybe jump up and down a little lol

  • I was at this show and the crowd was going nuts the whole time. As far as moshing goes its virtually impossible at this venue (PNC Bank Art Center) because the seats (which are not removable) lead all the way up to the end of the stage. There's no pit to mosh in, plus even if one made some sort of poor attempt at slam dancing, besides the fact that theres no where to do it, its a live nation owned arena and at least at that peticular one, they put security at the end of every row, ready to (con)

  • @fucktard360 Such a sad place exists...

  • Hop into my time machine. You need your own weapons and safety is not guaranteed; I have only done this one time before!

  • Just burned this and others to bluray...... hope I don't spend the next month in the house haha.

  • wtf this is nin

  • 0:49 is so badass

  • How in the Hell could anyone just stand there during this song like the fucking dead and not feeeeel this!???? When this shit came out in the early 90's I would play it in my car and almost fall out the window freaking out over it's awesomeness.

  • @2fookinwasted Let's go back in time and wake the suckers up!

  • I have never seen such a boring crowd to a kick ass song like this

  • I love Nine Inch Nails with all of my twisted fuckin' heart. But the song doesn't sound right with the guitars drop tuned to C.

  • @PvtPlatypus Are you kidding? It makes the song sound so much heavier... IMO

  • if "Last" can't make a crowd move, it's a sign that this people must be forgotten by humanity.

  • @maddogsmile This is true... But a huge problem in this is that the ampitheatre has a bunch of chairs unfortunately. But hey, at least they're standing.

  • @maddogsmile I think I was the only fucking person moving and screaming like an idiot in that crowd.

  • Why was the live video of "burn" removed?

  • Tough Crowd

  • You guys rock!!!! I love you all.

  • Nine inch fucking nails !!! longer than your dick!!!!

  • at the very least, would someone please introduce NJ to moshing?

  • Song. Kicks. So. Much. Ass. :)

  • he really upped his ante on the vocals for this. i knew he still had it in him :)

  • N I И

  • The best crowd was in poland, anyone agrees?

  • i'm sorry but that is the most boring crowd ever to such a kick ass song! I am so glad I saw this live at the Metro in Melbourne, Australia and I was screaming the lyrics whilst holding my wife! Great times and an unforgettable experience, the only NIN set list which deviated from the "Pinion, Terrible Lie, Sin" routine....

  • video should be renamed to "NIN the only thing ALIVE in Holmdel, NJ". Did the audience think they were in an audition to play the part of the brainwashed, zombie kids in Pink Floyd's "The Wall"? NIN should have played in front of the Chinese terracota warriors, they would have gotten a reaction out them! What an embarrasing audience...

  • The front row in the audience looks all lost in the dear with the head lights like this is the first time they're heard this song or something. Just lame and goes to show they are a bunch of fake NIN fans. Trent should of yelled at them and said "Bang your head and get all crazy you fuckers or go in the back row if you're not into this you fuckin posing douche-bags!" Ha ha ha!!

  • FUCK YES!!!!! This is badass!!! NIN FOREVER!

  • Trent Reznor is now one of the few Post-Industrial Hard rock bands that can say they are an Academy Award Winner.

  • I want to be Trent's pants.

  • Seriously, I was in this crowd too. Unfortunately I was waaaay in the back, but I still rocked out and had a good time. The people up front disappoint me. I would've killed to be where they were.

And this is one of my favorite songs too.

  • Comment removed

  • Alguien sabe donde puedo comprar unos pantalones como los de Reznor? Son de lo maaaasssss ! ! !

  • Videos goos, sound is awesome, crowd is FUCKING SHIT...

Learn to live while you can maggots.

  • 2:35 It's like they're caught in a field of digital distortion.

    True Industrial.

  • jesus we are all went crazy during this song, but we livin' in europe!!!! :D

  • I love the lack of care that camera person has! They put the video first and it looks amazing! Many times when i recorded, the crowd was first and the camera men almost had to be invisible! Love this kind of camera

  • Does this song not have a bassline? JMJ plays the bass but he has the 6 string guitar in this.

  • wait a second, where is the bass player? Does this song not have a bass line?

  • Que banda del carajooooo, por Dios ! ! ! Rompen con todo lo establecido

  • 5d mark ii black pixel problem at 00:10.

  • fucking crowd is dead WTF!

  • EPIC video, but crowd sucks

  • Look up the info for Boston Garden 12.3.94 show on ninwiki.com. Trent freaked out and walked off stage because everyone was in seats. The place went nuts and RIPPED the seats out of the ground. Trent came back out and rocked the place into the ground.

  • There was more action on stage then in the crowd.

  • Good show! Crowd not so much. =P

  • You gotta look at the lawn section. We were going nuts

  • I always loved this song!

I remeber one of my sisters friends thought he was singing "This is a metal ass, and it is full right now." I was like your a dumb ass, however when you think of it and humor it, it kind of sounds like that.

  • This crowd makes me think. When I saw NIN live, at first the crowd was insane. About five, six songs to finish, they were way more calmed.

But not me, sir. I was still insane, berzserk mode (or however the fuck you write it).

  • Look at how static people are in the front!!! They do not deserve this fucking amazing performance.. if I were there I would be tearing limbs and chopping bodyparts off out of excitement.

  • That wasn't the last show right? It was just the song "last"?

  • nice to hear this, finally. getting my friends from the parking lot to the ampitheater was like herding sheep and we missed the first couple songs

  • Its just weird lol.

  • I know I was kidding but WTF is wrong with his voice he is not that good of a singer anymore unless it comes to the Fragile and his recent stuff )=

  • @ThePredkiller why would he need to work on his voice?....its perfect for his music. no one can match it.

i think the grit in his voice just makes it sound harder and more aggressive

  • what's up with his voice in this one??

  • @prdgyair what the fuck are you talkin about

  • @smokelakes i've seen a few vids from around this time and his voice is a bit deeper and just sounds strange, you don't hear that? like he's sick or something..

  • @prdgyair yea i know what you mean. i thought that was just him gettin older.

i think the echoplex show was when he got sick though

  • @prdgyair Maybe because its been over twenty years since this song was written and recorded? His voice is bound to change....

  • @Huitzel well yeah, but i saw him in 05 and he sounded fine, and the vids of concerts AFTER this he sounded fine. IDK... i actually thought maybe a short stint on 'roids changed his voice, to be honest.. hoping not

  • zombies are real, and they live in Holmdel, NJ

  • @Rosstacular PNC is the coolest fucking venue, but everybody who goes there just stands, meanwhile me and my friends are up in the lawn or up front freaking the fuck out! It's really a sad thing. Craziest it's ever been was for Green Day, and even then it wasn't much.

  • @CriticsConfession I was just thinking the same thing dude, its NIN for fuck sake!! every time i've seen them live the crowd go nuts! But in this vid everyone's just standing still. WTF! its not Coldplay lol!

  • @Bennyboy138 HAHAHAHAHA! I appreciate the Coldplay insult, hahahahaha! I love in the video of NIN playing Wish live with the Dillinger Escape Plan and Trent is all like "Well, every once in a while there's a band that just blows us out of the water....and that band is obviously Coldplay (to which the audience boos) and we invited them tonight, but they didn't show, so we settled for these guys...get out here, you pussies!"

  • @CriticsConfession lol i remember that part X)

  • @Rosstacular its because they cant fist pump to this song

  • @Rosstacular this is what happens when a bands fans all grow up and have kids and jobs. I went to Metallica in 1996 and was like "Wtf" when everyone was in button down shirts and baseball hats and the guy behind me told us to sit down

  • @Rosstacular lol!

  • @Rosstacular "live" lol

  • fucking people ill give anything to see last live

  • What's with the weird change in the root note? It doesn't sound anything like how it was written...lol

  • @MesoAsian the thing about nine inch nails is that their songs grow better and better with each tour. especially the older ones. they have a chance to really feel out how the song should sound and go with it.

why do you think songs from the downward spiral are still getting radio play? the songs have grown up with their audience and it is wonderful

  • @TakingBackSam Yeah, I guess you're right. The more you play a track the more it get's tweaked just right. I just thought it was odd to change the notes altogether, the whole track is like a couple of semitones off. Maybe it's cause Trent has a deeper voice compared to when it was written? Who knows, still loved the performance ; )

  • @MesoAsian theres actually a funny video somewhere on here where he makes fun of the difference between his speaking/singing voice

and yes it still was a great performance-all their stage vids are definitely the best

  • @TakingBackSam If you don't mind me asking, where did you find that particular clip, cause I'd like to watch it.

  • skinny trent was much powerful....still awesome though

  • WTF is this? This can not be NIN, who the hell is that up on stage? That can not be Trent Reznor. WTF happened to him? Is he on drugs or something?

  • @ThePredkiller Don't tell me you expected him to stay a skinny angry goth boy his whole life. People grow older and change, deal with it.

  • No he's not on drugs anymore, and he got buff like five years ago.

  • the best live band ever!!!!

  • Trent + leather pants = WIN

  • this song is heavy . love the riff .

  • he doesn't sound the same anymore :/ but god does he look hotter than ever! YUH-fucking-UM!!

  • what's wrong with the crowd?? People like this don't deserve to be there!

  • @stunningslug i was there the reason nobodys moving is because its all chairs which is bullshit\ i wish i could of seen nin somewheree else where i could move around and pit n all that plus it also sucked because they played really early because they opened for janes addiction but other than that nin is awsome and sounds great live just wish i went and saw them at another place

  • @wardoekw well that sucks. Didn't know there were chairs. But still i bet it was good experience right? :)

  • OMG, the crowd it's so bad.

  • this is a badass song

  • Criticize all you want, but Trent Reznor is a musical genius and if you don't appreciate that, well, then you'll live you're life without his magic. For the rest of us, we are blessed :) I love this song and have always loved the beginning solo. I blast it all the time in the car

  • Best part of this sing, DRUMS + GUITAR.........

  • Wow, I am surprised to see this.. I was at this show, and Trent was very sick, could barely sing, at least by his standards. I also don't know how the hell they filmed this, I dont remember seeing anybody on stage with a camera. Hurm.

  • @wallgazer88 Really??? That's interesting...

  • I can't quit watching this

  • That lead man needs to give up on the body supplements he looks middle aged! Great vid though. Great grunting :-)

  • @bondbug73

Um, his name is Trent Reznor, and he is middle aged........

  • @bondbug73 hes 45, and i think it looks badass haha
