the reason why you can hear jeremys vocals still is cause of the amount of mics they use, and it geives it more of the reverb sound i guess you could call it, and thats what you hear,

this is what it sounds like if you barely pull the headphones out of your ipod, i do it to figure out guitar parts, its really helpful
