hey i dont know of this will help bt.....yeah i do a mind called Gordon's Mind on my other account venomator1123. i use cl_drawhud 0 to hide hud r_drawviewmodel 0 to hid weapon and i can hear your mouse....cliking in the back...so wht i do is i record my video and then use audacity to record my voice over the video.......u dont need to take my advice...just...thought it might help

It's really rough though. If I do a more serious "Mind Of" series, I'll mod the game if I have to, if it means getting rid of the damn HUD.

I've definately seen worse. The dialogue was decent, your voice has actually broken (a wonder on the internet) and some of your humour was reasonably entertaining.

@TheGentlemansShadow Thanks. It's rough, I know, but hey, if I plan on making a "Mind of" series, I notice the first episodes are ALWAYS the crappiest. So like I said, I did this to get an idea of what I'm doing so the 1st episodes of my more serious works don't suck. :D

@SpadesNeil There is no Halo 3 PC version, but you can use recording equipment to record a HD of the XBox and transfer that to the PC, at which point you can record your own commentary. You could pass off the Chief's talking with the idea that he was fitted with a voice modifier, either to hide his identity, or because nobody likes a hero with a high voice. I figure he would be a pretty whiny fellow, having to save the world a million times.

Seeing as how in Halo 2 there's a *click* after he puts his helmet on, but before he begins speaking.

I dunno, but I kind of liked how in the other Freeman's mind series, he was more sadistic and didn't give a shit if he killed anybody. His carelessness was one of the best things about the series.
