  • I actually think Owens' performance on this song is better than Hal's. Owens' darker voice fits this song perfectly

  • @SwedishHeadbanger

true. people dont like Owen simply because he's not Halford.

  • Sorry but this is not judas priest. It's like an oreo without cream

  • buen tema carajo

  • heavy but slow:It's so fuckin' great!!!!

  • the best,666!!!

  • I like both and listen to both but ripper has a stronger performence live

  • @TheAmeader I agree!!!

  • @kelszakk =)

  • Owens Suck. Halford FTW

  • tim owen sucks...rob halford (y)

  • @MrBlietzkrieg Owens is a great singer, I mean he isn't Rob but he is one hell of a singer, he fits priest very well.

  • we wanna KK back! Glenn is oldschool shredder, nothing more, additional part of priest.. WE WANNA KK BACK!!! ე

  • The colour and tone of Halford's voice is unique. No one can immitate him.

  • verry good for me o.k........jeha

  • did he miss some lines in the beginning ??

  • Why singing Tim Owen in instead Rob Halford? by the way Tim "Ripper" Owens is perfect singer!

  • @BukecT92 i believe it was the time when rob was on a hiatos from priest and tim stepped in :)

  • i feel here and a lot of the live performances tim owens sounds more like dio than halford. still awesome, just an observation

  • Umm....I should rephrase my previous comment. I dont think he screwed up. I think he/they changed the lyrics order. I just think it's disgraceful to do that to such classic songs. I'm sure we are all BIg fans of bands of all walks and genres. If you are such a devoted fan, how could u possibly change it. I would never think about changing it. Some fan :(

  • @gumdo666 Sadly, no. He did screw up the lyrics. Even had he decided to change the order, he still would have screwed up the lyrics. It happens though sometimes.

  • @gumdo666 So what if he screwed up the lyrics at least he made it work and sound good still. This kicks MF ASS dude.

  • @Judas_Priest_FC

  • why does kk look like hes fucking dying in every video? lol

  • 261 people are turbo lovers :)

  • So?

Bruce Dickinson slips up occasionally even on songs that he's been singing for 25 years which is why he has lyric books stashed all over the stage just like Rob Halford wears in ear monitors that play back audio vocal tracks and Ian Gillan uses a notebook he keeps on stage to keep track of what he does which is why he's always barefoot on stage (so he can turn the pages without bending down).

Slip ups happen to even the best singers especially he/she loses concentration or gets distracted

  • 19 people have no turbo.

  • The thing was just that Ripper was just at the Rob-songs just compared to him - well vocally with certainty, but the performance seems quite wooden at Owens, while Rob uses this very popular song to play with the fans. As much as Ripper Owens also strained - a fantastic voice alone is not enough. Rob has both on the pan - top voice and a similar performance. For me still the best metal artist ever.

  • @gumdo666 Well, imagine how will Rob sing it, without reading the lyrics... He did an exelent job for missing just once.

  • He missed a few lyrics there.

  • Great choice by Glenn (I'm assuming) to bring in Ripper...he kept up the standard brilliantly.

  • @kcupriest I think it was the drummer that found ripper.

  • Halford and Owens truely are the greatest metal vocalists. Love them both, incredible singing!

  • Is great that Judas Priest made a Live CD and Live DVD because Ripper is a damn good singer too.

  • Owens made mistake at 0:45 :) Btw his singing is phenomenal :)

  • You can just see the boredom on Scott Travis' face as he is drumming Dave Holland's boring monotone drum pattern.

  • This new singer is just as good as Halford was! Awesome performance!

  • Damn impressive version - nice work Tim.

  • he is good,,he may be a ROCK STAR som day,

  • tim ripper singing is heart..

  • Ripper Doesnt Have the same Passion Singing this song as Rob... But dont get me wrong ripper is great!

  • excellent ...

  • Ripper did a great job. Halford is an icon - but grown old and not better...

  • 5 mounth ago, but YES.

  • halford is better than Ripper xD

  • Halford?? Owens?? I don´t give a fuck!!! I´m listening to the priest \,,/

  • awesome

  • Owen is ok, but this song with him is slightly without juice...

  • Is this Rob Halford at the vocals?

  • @Nic0las11x12: fail...

  • @mcschp Does this mean yes or no? The guy doesn't look like Rob Halford in my opinion.. also doesn't sound as usual..

  • @Nic0las11x12: that means no...:-) should be fairly obvious that this is tim "ripper" owens...

  • @Nic0las11x12 Are you kidding me right now? Hell no!!!

  • @jpocalips1 Okay, thanks! Thanks for the extremely "friendly" answer.

  • "The younger" priest was also astonishing

  • awesome

  • cant remember the song there buddy? long live rob!

  • No matter who fronts, these guys are GODS!!!

  • Holy Shit, Reunion and live cd please:)

  • 2:07 - Rob Halford.

  • ok,thx for info.

but now rob is back,i think.

  • the real priest???

  • This guy is pretty good! He should have started a solo career after halford reunited with them.

  • @youkid1991 Seriously? He does have a solo career!

  • another song that "the ripper" just can't sing, and i dont blame him for that, rob's shoes are really hard to fill, but damn this sucked, he's good at some songs, but not all of them and this is one he cant do, besides the fact that he cant sing as low as rob the accent is something that bothers me but oh well i saw them last year ane rob gave an amaizing performance....

  • i likethat song..

  • Boy I have been a fan of this song since the first day it came out but damn this version blows hard. The Ripper sucks for one the dumb ass forgot the lyrics at the beginning he cant sing worth crap yeah he can hit a couple notes but not enough. And this song is not the same as when they used the synth guitar it kind of kills the whole vibe of the song. I still love priest though but they kind of got lame with the Ripper the man just is not real metal and never will be. Rob H your the king.

  • I rly like how this live version it sounds with Ripper. Rly like it!

  • Who is the vocalist???????

  • @ozzyfan16 Tim Owens

  • @HCsonicknx who are theses guys??????

  • @MrTommyrio This is Judas Priest. After original singer Rob Halford left in 1992, they found Tim Owens to replace him until Rob wanted to rejoin in... 2004 I think...?

  • @MrTommyrio Uh... JUDAS PRIEST?

  • I usually don't like Owens' versions but I really like this version. Halford is better, but this is a damn good one.

  • is that another singer a usual?

  • This Sucks, Way To SIng It Wrong Asshole And Fuck It Up Mr Butt You'll Feel Me My Ass

  • Comment removed

  • Tim owens is jesus

    Rob hallford is god

  • @store1992

    AMEN!

  • @store1992 and so....who's the virgin mary? :D

  • @store1992 So is Satan the chior director? The "Ripper" has the ultimate voice!

  • @store1992 Now that's the heaven I want to go to!

  • @store1992 and you are a fag.

  • @SOMBRASDEANGEL haha ok kiddo

  • Great version,it rocks! A+ Thanks for posting :)

  • Great version! A+ Thanks for posting :)

  • @Snuffcan1 No More Like F-

  • Great version! A+ :)

  • One hell of a song to scrog to!!!!!

  • Judas Priest is the best band ever. This song is fantastic

  • HAAAA UHUUUUHHHH UAHAAAAAAA HAHAHAHAHA

    MUAHAHAHAHAH PORRAAAAA METALLL AHAAAAHHHHH

    DIABO PAI DO ROCK :)

    muito foda

  • Rippers a beast

  • God, is Ripper not the most boring frontman I've ever witnessed, yeah just keep on stading there, real entertaining jackass.

  • Judas Priest is nothing without ROb Halford! Just imagine Iron Maiden without Bruce Dickinson, Metallica without Hetfield and so on...

But he still have a great voice =) but it doesnt fit really in this...:S

    Just my opinion

  • bring back ripper

  • fuck you all................

i love rob past and history, but this days he cant sing the higher note, owen has a better and stronger voice and he dont strungle like rob.

  • @cmlguerra wish people would just accept the different styles between them both

  • hes doenst have the voice spektrum like halford, but hes better then nothing ^^

  • This isnt Judas Priest its nothing without King Rob

  • Than within your senses.

  • Best version of this song.

  • 00:54 , you mean " Then within your senses "

  • WTF!!! the lyrics is different, he sings wrong

  • Ripper doesn't hold a candle to Halford, even now.

  • RIPPER RULES!!!!!HELL YEAH!!!!!

  • Sounds like Hetfield doing a cover of it TBH

  • it seems like glen and k.k aren't having as much fun as they do with rob on stage. Usually at 3:59 they are headbanging but here not so much.

  • And he sang the wrong text :D

'Then we race together, you're defensless'

  • ripper is good but once Halford Left, Judas Priest was lacking a bit.

  • ripper really did a great job,im not really a big judas fan but he just makes it sound better hahaha

  • Ripper did a great fucking job! sends chills to my spine, this guy was a real replacement

  • He would have done an amazing job on this song if he hadn`t fucked up the lyrics at the beginning.

  • @QAeternus I love Ripper but you are right. Hey omg he's human too lol Rock on

  • @QAeternus yeah. you're right. a big time lyric fuck up too. couldn't belive it.

  • i am a ripper fan by far but i will admit this song belongs to rob alone. his high rasp and scream puts this song all together. rippers lower voice just doesnt drive this song like king rob's voice does

  • mille volte meglio Rob_!!!!!!!!!!!

  • why is there so many arguments about ripper vs halford. look, arguing with any desicion priest has made is insulting their judging ablity, if they didnt think ripper was right for the job, they wouldnt have picked him, and vice versa, with letting halford back in.

  • I like ripper here, but he sucked in Iced Earth :(

  • Really? I thought "The Glorious Burden" was incredible. Much better than his JP material.

  • I fuckin' love the Turbo Lover Song! I could sing this to my GF everyday....But this song has no Magic and Emotion without Rob.

  • Halford is still the best.. He is and will always be the true Priest!!

  • Ripper is a genius metal singer, but he coulda had a better run with Priest. His voice is probably the sharpest in the industry, it's just so high and violent, but no one but Rob can do it better. I can't wait to hear his role in Avantasia.

  • a hurricane!!!

  • Why all those idiots compare Ripper with Halford anythime they could? I don't even care those stupid comments nor Judas Priest members. Stop doing this comparisons and just enjoy the video.

And if you don't like the video with Ripper on it, go and watch Jonas Brothers' videos.

  • @sharerx Do you really believe that everyone who likes Rob Halford more than Ripper has to like Jonas Brothers?

  • I like the solo of this song, but thats it.

  • ha are u bulgarian

  • 0:45 Ripper forgot the Lyrics, WTF?!

With all my love to Ripper, I never heard him performing one song better than Rob.

  • yeah when I bought this album on CD, i was like, messed up BAD!!!

I can think of a few songs he sings better live... Painkiller being one of em

  • painkiller

  • That's an option. But i think u should listen to "Live In Sofia 2004" Version of Painkiller, I think it is the best Version!

  • Victim of Changes in this live was awesome. Even better than 82 and 2005 Rob's lives IMO.

  • hahahhahahaha U GOTTA BE KIDDING!

    If u don't u r a Dumb Ignorant...

  • yes u right he made a mistake

  • is this down a 1/2 step?

  • That's a matter of opinion. :P

  • Tim is as close as it gets to Rob H and he has a great powerful voice, but Rob is the man and a metal GOD!

  • Little mistake - GREAT VOICE!

    Ripper rules!

In the history of bands' members changes, Ripper replacing Rob was the most successful, by far!

Of course, Rob is THE ONE AND ONLY METAL GOD!

  • Be fair, I mean could you fill Halford's size nine's ?

Not easy to do so you have to give him that.

  • bravo na kitarista bravo bravo

  • "Then we race together... you know you're defenseless"

Good job botching the lyrics in the first verse Ripper... this is seriously on a DVD?

  • yeah thank god they booted this guy...

  • Po yo le echo la pata a los dos a Ripper y a Halfor

  • Ti skata lete vre malakes ispanoi ?

  • a re elladaraaaaaaaaaa!

  • The Ripper <3

He sounds as good as Halford and hev looks better. :p

  • Halford < The Ripper

  • Eh ehh no ..
