That murder leads to the kidnap of The President's Daughter. The West Wing was awesome.

Nice video but misleading title since Donna didn't die, Leo did. Why would you want people to think that Donna died? Seems weird to me and not in line with how fine the video is. You didn't show one of poor Leo alive in it either - very odd!!
i saw this video listed on youtube when i still hadn't finished the season. I didnt watch it, not wanting to see spoilers, but I thought that Donna was actually going to die. Now that I have finished the series, I am relieved that she didn't.
there is one shot though, where you can see Donna in the back (for one seceond or so): when the chest (Leo's chest) is being carried away, Donna is standing in the back

I hate to break your bubble but Donna never acutally died. Although she did get injured while she was overseas on a fact finding trip. The scenes at the beggining are probably of the white house staff getting ready to attend Leo's funeral. If you watch on further in the episode you will see Donna put on a necklace. Finally the scenes with CJ crying, those are likely from when one of her bodyguards was killed.

And the fact that you fooled so many people into thinking that you thought that Donna died, means that your vid was very successful and its a compliment to your effort. It is sweet that they all thought you could have collected all the clips and not noticed that Donna hadnt died...they forgot that you edited the whole thing very carefully and rather cleverly.
so many real characters died on the show including the fan favorite Leo Magarry so why dedicate a video to something that never even happened when you can express real remorse for something that did? This video makes no sense.
Donna doesn't die she goes on to run against Josh in the next election but her candidate loses and she begs Josh for a job he rehires her and that's when they finally fall in love and end the show in bed :-) if she died none of that would or could have happened. This should be a tribute to Fitz

It's "Donnatella". John Spencer, the actor, died December 16, 2005, necessitating writing that his character, Leo McGarry, dies, heart attack. Donna died briefly (heart stopped), but was brought back on the table. Most funeral stuff from Leo's funeral, some Mrs. Landingham's, most CJ's grief from death of her Secret Service body guard, Simon Donovan. Yes, a West Wing nerd, but it's all on imdb.

by the way im 13 and i don't have a job. i havve baseball every night at the highschool feild house(i'm a pitcher for the travel team), i am a straight a student, and if you are trying to tell me that i need to get a life then i guess that is not good enough. ok listen idiot. This is footage from Leo's funeral. Episode Requim. donna doesn't die. She was hurt. Then recovered and began working for VP Bob Russle. Then she went to Matt Snatos's campaign. SHE DIDN'T DIE! and even if she did why would she have a millitary service. Why would her coffin be carried by Matt Snatos. Pres Bartlet and Leo's son-in-law. Also Mallory Obrien was sitting in front crying. Mallory is LEO's DAUGHTER. Plus when they are carring the coffin they walk right past her.

In that case, maybe you can help me... a friend of mine and I love the episode where they are discussing the president's return and trying to figure out the time difference when C.J. comes in and points out all the clocks on the wall... any idea which episode (season at least)?

No, Donna doesn't die in West Wing.
This is a video cut together to portray a what-if scenario. "What if Donna died?..."
And I like it. It's well-done.
It just feels very much like West Wing.
Of course, all that is mainly due to the actors, storywriters and directors of The West Wing. The source material is so good, but the maker of this video did use it well.

This is Jeff Buckley singing and was used when CJ Craig heard about her bodyguard; the character played by Mark Harmon, that she was just falling in love with, was shot and killed. They were in Ny watching the War of the Roses and CJ broke down in the middle of broadway.

Wow! This is one fX%@ked up piece of video right here. Why on earth would you take some of the most poignant scenes ever to hit broadcast television and twist them into some sick "Donna dies" fantasy? The actual plot was plenty traumatic as it was.

Nice video but misleading title since Donna didn't die, Leo did. Why would you want people to think that Donna died? Seems weird to me and not in line with how fine the video is. You didn't show one of poor Leo alive in it either - very odd!!

i saw this video listed on youtube when i still hadn't finished the season. I didnt watch it, not wanting to see spoilers, but I thought that Donna was actually going to die. Now that I have finished the series, I am relieved that she didn't.

there is one shot though, where you can see Donna in the back (for one seceond or so): when the chest (Leo's chest) is being carried away, Donna is standing in the back

This music was used for after Special Agent Simon (Mark Harmon) was killed and the scenes where CJ was crying at the end after hearing he died in a robbery... i'm pretty sure unless i'm totally off track

a) Josh never approved of Donna using DDCOS, she delivered joked to a friday night taping by POTIS, told Sam to watch.
B) Will would never say "Bob" Russell for Pes, would say Robert.
C) I did said Lou, thereafter Josh APPROVED, Yes, Lou hired her for special spot.. after Josh protested, she arranged for Josh interview Donna..
D) I was aware of this.

season 1 was a) after josh approved for deputy deputy cheif of staff ha ha
season 5 was B) will bailey for bob russel for president campaign.
season 7 was C) again after josh approved (but lou wasn't asking him. she made that desision.
and in season 7 its d) first lady elect for chief of staff

I hate to break your bubble but Donna never acutally died. Although she did get injured while she was overseas on a fact finding trip. The scenes at the beggining are probably of the white house staff getting ready to attend Leo's funeral. If you watch on further in the episode you will see Donna put on a necklace. Finally the scenes with CJ crying, those are likely from when one of her bodyguards was killed.

And the fact that you fooled so many people into thinking that you thought that Donna died, means that your vid was very successful and its a compliment to your effort. So keep making up the fiction the way you want it to be, because if you can't play with fiction, whawt can you play with? It is sweet that they all thought you could have collected all the clips and not noticed that Donna hadnt died...they forgot that you edited the whole thing very carefully and rather cleverly.

Donna doesn't die she goes on to run against Josh in the next election but her candidate loses and she begs Josh for a job he rehires her and that's when they finally fall in love and end the show in bed :-) if she died none of that would or could have happened. This should be a tribute to Fitz
