@copper232 Depending on what sportster you got it would be a bit small, but as long as your willing to modify all you'd have to do it move your foot controls forward, only an inch or two if you get one with forward controls to begin with, drop your seat and move it back right to the fender, and throw some bigger bars on it. I personally think smaller bikes look way more badass, they've got the whole maneuverability thing going for them.

I've bought a lot of stuff from Road 6 Customs. Their handle bars are insane and their priced cant be beat. They are doing a 200mm rigid hardtail out of my stock 99 frame on my sporty right now. It is SICK! I ran the struts for a while, but decided i wanted the real deal. I looks so bad ass.

Anything over a 200 is pretty stupid i think. I really like the 200s, they dont cost any more than most HD tires, the Metzler's have an awesome tread and last a long time, It just looks right. The sportster uses 1 1/4" tubing for the frame, so with the fatter tubing, i like the way the fatter tires looks. Also, you can run a little wider/more comfortable seat and not have it look out of place. I can email you pics if you want.

it looks like your running the 9" wide seat. Thats what i had on mine with the struts and the skinny tire, but now i can run the 13" wide seat, it fits the frame perfect, and is about 200% more comfortable.

Struts on swingarms don't look that bad dude. If the rest of the bike is done well, they mostly go unnoticable. There is some badass sportster bobbers on youtube with struts...and they look tuff as hell. $50 struts sure does beat a $1200 rigid frame.
