@Nateb123 I personally know several SEAL and SWCC operators who use this watch during operations. They use the Luminox 3051 NATO version as it is the version currently issued. It does not have a rubber strap, but rather a green nylon strap with tension-based closing system. I personally own a 3051 NATO and have used it for 12 years in the field. I have replaced the bezel once, the glass twice and the batteries as would be expected. Otherwise it functions flawlessly. Great warranty.
@Terrorpig Yeah, the polyurethane they use is the cheapest out there. Same for the polycarbonate that makes up the case. Keep it away from water if you want it to last. This is 100m water resistant at best when its new. Over time the case deforms and water comes rushing in...
@NeoNSPETSNAZ It's not rubber, it's polyurethane. It gets brittle and snaps easily after a bit of heat and water since they use the cheapest grade you can get for a watch strap. Rubber doesn't do that nearly as quickly, and silicone is more likely to tear because it's hugely flexible.
I know it's juvenile to say this, but it's funny when you say "I wish I could take you into a room and show you this." at 4:59. It sounds kind of funny when taken out of context.
Can you do me a favor and stop trolling my comments page? It's based on opinion for Luminox; some people hate it (you) and some people love it (me). And no, I do not personally know any SEALS, and I do not beleive that they use this "garbage", but this watch definatley conforms to MIL-W-46374F.
where did your gf buy this from? because i cant find it for less than 180-200ish

Straps and bands suck big time! Change straps twice! Poor quality rubber straps! Had to buy Zulu nylon straps to replace the original straps.

@sergiotico13
not really. Only f you put stuff on it that dissolves the rubber/silicone.

Does the bezel rotate?
NeoNSPETSNAZ 7 months ago
Yes, the bezel does rotate.

@Vazquez4404
Mine seems tight...I try to rotate it counterclockwise and it doesn't budge. Do you have to do something to it first or just rotate it?
NeoNSPETSNAZ 7 months ago
@Vazquez4404
nevermind I fixed it...you just need to twist it REALLY hard.

You will have no issues with the size. My wrists aren't that thick and still have several size adjustments left on the strap.
Vazquez4404 7 months ago
@Vazquez4404 Yeah, I am in 8th grade and this watch fits me perfectly.

abgaurav 7 months ago
@abgaurav It will fit you well. My wrist is MAYBE 4.5 inches...and I do not even use the smallest size adjustment.
