  • Love the pot heads head banging - this might as well had been Abba - nothing much here to bang ones head about!

  • @Bucketbucketdog I dare you to find a live performance of this song that is exactly like another live performance, let alone the studio track.

  • @Bucketbucketdog Buckethead is allowed to improvise as this is his own song.Part of his appeal is the showman ship he exudes during his live sets. The studio versions, although great, just don't have the heart and soul showing as much as the live performances. Brian's a very special talent and a very special person.

  • @Bucketbucketdog lol your name has bucket in it and you dont know buckhead likes to improv, go see him live dude this vid is sweet as fuck

  • @Bucketbucketdog everything about this is real deal. Big B almost always improvs during his live show. I have a vid of Jordan on my channel that's almost exact...but he doesn't usually do that. Thanks for the input, though

  • Can't believe I only just discovered this guy... at the risk of stating the bleeding obvious, he's way beyond good.

  • @Glennfaw have fun exploring his widespread and gigantic discography, it proved to be worthwhile expedition for me.

  • amazing guitarist

  • Whats the effect at 4:34 on the album its just an octave pedal but this sounds much cooler

    any ideas?

  • It could not be anything else that an octaver, to me.

  • @TheJoeMunk it's just an octaver with a shit ton of vibrato

  • awesome!

  • what are you using for a camera?

  • Why the heck is my "reply" to jackcampbell21 way the fuck UP HERE?????

    Fucking SCREW-tube.

  • Oh yeah, I have pics of both his pedal boards i took at that show myspace/trickstar + two vids and the warlock he signed at the 06 toads show.

Im sure most of his effects were modded, the yellow wah was not stock.

No.1 straps are NOT the same as the one he uses. yeah you need earplugs in front it was loud. Toads has decent PA.

Thats his backup guitar, his main's neck finally gave in from a huge crack from a cymbol smack.

  • TRICKSTAR!!! i met you at a Buckethead show. not this one but the time before it at Toad's when we all met That One Guy in the hall downstairs after the show. Not sure if you were still there when we met Buckethead

  • Paul did you notice how many F ups he made that night? I mean you've seen him enough to tell he wasnt on his A game that night.

  • can anybody tell me the effect he is using around the 1:00 mark? it would be much appreciated :)

  • sounds like it's just a regular old flanger effect

  • thanks for both your answers m8 ;)

  • Snarling dogs mold spore wah pedal.

  • thanks dude your godly :) but i heard they are rare?

  • the mold spore has been discontinued but you might be able to come across one on E-bay or Craigs list every now and then

  • YES!.....gijoerick is ABSOLUTELY correct!!!

You can usually find one for anywhere between $350-400.

  • i seen one go for £160 on ebay which is like $250-300. not bad

  • cunt at the front wif earplugs in

  • earplugs actually improve sound quality. jerk off

  • lmao. anyway, how much was it to see him?

  • like 20 bucks

  • horrible crowd`!!!!!!

He Played wounderfully!! I like how he can freestyle out of no where just in te snap of a finger, and still sound amazing.!!!

People say you get rusty with age, But this guy gets more and more complicated as the albums are released!!! and he can rip it up faster than i could last remember!!! i think he is like 40!!! born 1969!!! Damn!!

  • ...what would you like the crowd to be doing?

  • insane solos

  • nvm allstar, i figured it out myself

  • hey uhmm, what really high note does he play in the first verse that isnt in the actual recording?

  • ??? what are you talking about

  • harmonics

  • :S okay then....

  • great preformance,... boring crowd :p

  • the crowd wasn't boring. they were listening intently to a musical masterpiece

  • this and the earth day festival are thee two best live versions of this song... EVER

    imo

  • how long are his gigs usually??

  • I was at this one...That 1 Guy opened for an hour and a half, then it took FOREVER for Buckethead to come out, and a half hour later he came out and played for two and a half hours bringing this to like 1:00AM.

  • 2 maybe 2 an a half hours

  • jesus fucking christ that was the most insane thing ive ever seen, buckethead is a god

  • Amazing Song! :) And that the first time I heard "2 Octaves" instead of 1 on the Whammy.

  • Amazing song!!! Buckethead 4 ever

  • 4:23-4:34 - what did he use? I love this part so much!

  • pretty sure it's just a digitech whammy pedal

  • thanks man :)

  • i can;t believe i missed this dude! i could fucking throw up over this! he played two of my favorite songs too!!!! gah! *shakes head*

  • go to the show in New York saturday

  • gah i wish i could, i got no ride.

  • I'm going again lol!

  • is that place big?

  • not particularly. the capacity is only 750 people. I'm going to see him again Saturday at BB King's Bar and Grill in NYC. I believe the capacity is the same there. From what I understand it holds 500-1000 people depending on the set up for the night

  • Lol it's like he saw u with the camera and decided to play right in front of u

  • wen he started playing this every1 was cheering so loud! its weird that i couldnt hear it in this video...

  • yeah i was definitely one of those people...i didn't get the first 5-10 seconds. that's probably why you didn't hear it. this right up there with my favorite song of his. i'm traveling to BB King's Bar and Grill in NYC on November 1st to see him again. I'll tape more of the songs that i didn't get at this show

  • I think I remember seenin u, u were holding the camera rlly high.

I can see myself in this... I'm the 1 that gave him my pick

  • yeah i know. i saw you do that

  • How much for that pick? I saw you trade your Blue Oyster Cult one for his. I was literally right next to you sitting on stage.

  • hah...at 12 seconds you can hear me say "it's not gonna leave me that much left but i gotta tape the whole thing"

  • what camera did u use to record these? great quality. i was probably about 3 people next to you

  • it was just a Sony Cybershot. i was a little concerned that the quality wouldn't be all that great but i'm really happy with how it turned out. i just wish i had more memory and battery life to get more full songs.
