  • Brett, have you ever heard of the Ojai breath?

  • oooooo lmfao

  • oooooo oooooooooo oooooooolol lmfao!!!!!!!

  • Sound like some weird porn if look away

  • eyes are lookin a lil faded bro. don't worry tho im on your level

  • That awkward moment when he looks at you and does flawless vibrato rubbing it in your face like a boss!

  • I find it amusing that around 1:00 he's just alternating between breathy falsetto and non breathy falsetto. Because I don't hear any cord closure.

  • i dont have any musical talent:(

  • I'm a noob at singing and I didn't understand a thing to be honest.

  • @Gurkmassa no doubt. I thought I was suppose to learn something Instead just became confused lol

  • @dennythesavage The thing that I've heard from other people is that you should take power all the way from the diaphragm to don't damage your voice. Also it's very hard to sing loud with your head voice or whatever it's called. I have just begun practicing, it sounds awful now when I record myself but I will keep up with the practice.

  • @dennythesavage you should get the Singing Success program. All of these tips are about the stuff in that program.

  • @Gurkmassa Singing falsetto is the easiest, it's when you try to make soft high notes with a light, girly sound. Your voice will also sound very breathy because your vocal chords inside your throat aren't fully closed.

In full voice, your vocal chords close and more tension builds up. The sound is more powerful but without proper technique, you'll probably feel quickly exhausted.

You can switch from one to the other on one high pitch and feel (and hear) a "click" in your voice.

  • lol... are you ok? You look pained...

  • hahahaha.... he said head. .

  • Are you fucking high?

  • great!

  • head voice? chest voice? term voice? this seems like its for people who know how to use their voice, not for someone who doesn't. Dude your probably explaining this perfect but its not simple enough for "noobs" lol.

  • @TheBleedingFace If you don't know what a head voice or a chest voice is, perhaps you need to learn a bit more about the voice before you begin trying to do exercises as advances as this.

  • what?

  • Great video! Thanks for taking the time to share!!!

  • Sounds like George Clooney

  • @pianosyrup123, yeah, too bad you're a beareton

  • Jon voight ? Are you jon voight ....can i even spell john voit ..you are ,are you not ?

  • What to do if you can't hit the higher notes because your voice will crack?

  • @i1spec Sing in a lower register.

  • he sounded like a chick

  • your right on don't forget mind to voice and room water if your sick don't sing it can mess up your voice leave your heavy drinks at the door plus its good to know your lines by heart before you record why less work and the less is better for the mind plus keep your mind clear sing with your soul and heart not with your throat from kicking saturday

  • I think this guy needs hat lessons.

  • "Hi, i'm ripped off my gord..." lol

  • @Wyndesor There are four major categories of the lyric tenor voice and the Zona di passaggio or Upper Middle Voice (D4-G4) is one of them so yes, there is such a thing as a mixture.

  • OHHHH! OHHHHHH! OHHHHH! lmao

  • Jack Nicholson?

  • your neighbors are proboly like what the heck

  • There's a blend of head and chest. Bow chicka wow wow!

  • this is actually not bad at all, but you need to already have some knowledge to fully understand what he's saying

  • i just hate this entrance

  • wow this is cool

  • you sound like a girl when you sing

  • T H I S ... I S ... R E T A R D E D !

  • This guy likes head.....Stuck in his mouth :D

  • His eyes are chinked permanently.. Swagg.

  • hehehehehe head

  • AHAHAHAHAHAHAAH fuckin love that top comment!!! i wish i could like it more than once!!!!

  • Chuck Norris would kick ur ass !

  • @arpeggi5150 Agreed. This guys and his program have worked wonders for me; right from the start even. Although I don't know how ranged his skills are in all reality due to my lack of a singing education, the program has done more than enough to make me believe. As I learn more, maybe I'll keep believing in Brett, maybe not. Either way, I'm hooked for now and I don't plan on stopping his techniques any time soon. And this is coming from a guy who never thought that he had a chance at singing well

  • I don't know why everybodies talkin shit. Brett manning has been the most helpful vocal teacher I've found. I went from no ability to a 41/2+ octave range because of his program.

  • im sorry but this guy seriously doesn't help anyone. he is also forcing the sound out of his voice which is something you never ever want to do. i've know this guy for years and this is a complete ripoff. if you want to become a better singer get an actual vocal coach who has operatic training they will teach you how sing freely which will truly help you if you want to sing in a popular style.

  • if you haven't studied voice, this will sound very strange, and you may even be tempted to make fun of it

  • Thanks that's cool

  • 1:15 eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeehhhhhhhhhhhhhhh (two fingers pointing at his head), Hoooooooooo Hoooooooooooooo Hooooooooo, OH! OH! OH! "But there's a mixture"...

I wonder what stuff this guy's on. lol

  • Hahahah! Smoooooooooth.

  • Did anybody else think of Stewie Griffin at 1:33 ?

  • @DoPFliX Hahahaahahhahaha!

  • @DoPFliX WTF?

  • @DoPFliX i was thinking more Garth from Waynes world lol

  • @DoPFliX oooohhh we are gonna have ants!!!!

  • At about 1:18 I was so scared he was about to die. Luckily at about 1:30 I think his meds kick in and we all back away from the edge a little. Talk about thrill-a-minute.

  • ohhhhh ohhhhh ohhhhhhhh lmao, sorry but that was the funniest thing ive heard in a while

  • I have a sexy falsetto..

  • @imalcolm803 your fucking stupid, first off why would he want to lip sync to a voice that has very close similarities to a woman's, and second you do realize that after you record your audio on something that hes recording on, you have to sync it to the video, so he just didnt sync it completely on point

  • This guy is so high.....

  • you sound like marc anthony

  • LOL I LAUGH AT 1.34

  • @imalcolm803 not sure if serious or just trolling

  • @imalcolm803 apparently youve never made a youtube video lol. sometimes that happens, such a noob i swear. xD

  • Is he sleeping?

  • what if i wana sing and play guitar but like rl burnside, or junior kimbourgh? or dan auerbach or jack white?

  • hahaha head...

  • if you sing every day you do get better also just dont scream stand sing your favorite song if you feel your stomach muscles hurting then its working you also should do the high and low thing with your voice

  • thats cool but how do i combine them?....

  • @thehorrorsof bahahahahahaha

  • @s072733

    except spell "notes"

  • @jpires160 You stole that joke from the Nyan Cat-top comment. How weak and uncreative.

  • @turandretur you watch nyan cat everyday to reference its top comment so that you can troll somebody on a terriable video about singing?

  • i love this guy

  • I can see why this is free

  • @waydesaffield At least this isn't ExpertVillage...

  • @waydesaffield LOL! You don't know me, but I just want to thank you for a MUCH needed laugh during midterms.

  • @jpires160 dude i nearly pissed my self reading ur comment while listening to this guy

  • @jpires160 lmfao

  • i got so lightheaded that i passed out

  • I'm sorry but I laugh when he said head and hen "in my mouth!"

  • i cant help but laugh when he says head xD!!!!

  • he looks stoned as

  • @TheSwali He always looks and sounds tired and stoned. Not sure why. Could just be how he is.

  • My head voice gets to A6, and i'm a man O_o but im a bass! WTF

  • @assdjkhsdfjh34 Range doesn't define vocal type . Adam Lopez is a baritone but he can sing up to the 8th octave lol.

  • @assdjkhsdfjh34 Sure that's not whistle voice? :P

  • @assdjkhsdfjh34 Singing high only relies on squeezing the vocal chords to the point where they become very thin and stretched. Singing low notes on the other hand, depends on how much the vocal chords can expand - which is something that there is ultimately a limit to.

tl;dr: Mostly anyone can reach high notes with enough practice - there is only so much that one can do to reach "low" notes.

  • @assdjkhsdfjh34

     Whistle voice... !?!

  • "hes in head" thats what he said ^_^

  • huh?

  • haha head :)

  • @tylerkoepp Nope.

  • Wait, what?

  • why is my falsetto really strong??

  • head and chest? thats what she said

  • its like johnny knoxville and jack nicholson......

  • eeee..eeee...eEeEeEeEeEeEeEe

  • why is their an octovisor on your voice set lower

  • insert comment here about old man being old and looking like someone

  • im sorry im still confused, because when i do head and chest voice like you shown me,my chest still vibrates.....

  • @1:34 he sounds like Bob Dylan. haha

  • Does anybody else think he looks like an older version of johnny noxville

  • @brewster510 I think he looks like the same age version

  • It's Jake Shears.. !!!

  • 1:24 that's what she said

  • sound like a chick ???

  • 1:25

  • nytimes.com/2003/10/30/arts/franco-corelli-italian-tenor-power-charisma-pillar-met-dies-82.html?scp=4&sq=Franco%20Corelli&st=cse

  • shit your voice is high

  • you should just get some random person who cant sing and then teach them how to and record it. i think that would be the easiest way for us to learn too

  • huh huh, he said 'head'

  • @brianandsamantha : "im not stuck in my mouth. ohhhhh ohhhhhh ohhhhhh."

  • @littletaco003 hello.. you can check out the other videos in this channel that talks about those. all the best!

  • Comment removed

  • @littletaco003 something i found is keep your hand on your chest when you sing and if you feel vibrations then your in chest voice. then keep your hand there and sing in falsetto, those vibrations dissapear. i guess work from there :]

  • @littletaco003 I'm singing out of my arse don't worry m8..

  • @littletaco003 chest and head gets me confuses i think of poll humpers your vid is great but only the opposite sex should talk about assss and ities
