Very cool! I'm planning on getting a n810 when I upgrade my PDA, and I'll definitely check this out when I do. Maybe use it as a basis for a chording keyboard too, since no one's really making a wearable bluetooth keyboard and I definitely don't have the skills to build hardware from scratch.
1-Download the first (alpha) release of the script from the url which appears in the video description (YouTube doesn't allow me to put the url in the comment)
2-Uncompress and untar (not neccessarily on the tablet)
Not quite the same. Admittedly, cwiid is much more complete and technical sound than my approach, and allows for a "true" integration of the wiimote as an input device. However my approach has some advantages:
1) It runs entirely in user space. No drivers or modules to be installed.
2) The mapping from wiimote to X-window events is very flexible. You can assign to each button any sequence of X-window events, (mouse clicks, keypresses, ...) i.e, "macros" tailored to specific applications.
im getting a n810 tommaro...i download the file straight onto my device?

So, are you going to share your Python code? :)

Yes, as soon as I have time to clean a bit the code, document it and upload it somewhere.
