I love Danny Gaither and look forward to meeting him in heaven. This song is so meaningful to me. I miss his beautiful voice so much as well as many of our Gaither friends who are with or Lord now.

@BobbyStillHere That's nothing. By the time this was shot, Danny had been through cancer and several bouts of chemo. Before that, he was slam-dunking it. There are several videos here on Youtube that show him on top of his game. He may not be as good as he once was in this clip, but he's still great. But now he is singing his heart out for the King of Kings in his glorious presence.

Has anyone else noticed that Mark Lowry is always sitting next to Danny in all the videos that they are both in? We have no way of knowing I guess but I can see them being good friends.
While their voices are very different, the facial mannerisms and way that they sing are very very similar. Not that he would want to but Bill would have a very hard time denying that Danny was his brother.
I believe this was well after Danny had quit singing officially due to voice problems and after he had been diagnosed with cancer. In fact I think this was filmed a day after a long bout of chemotheropy. He was a true great in gospel music. And no, Bill and Danny sound nothing alike. Much more singing talent on Dannys side.
In Bill Gaither's book, he describes how when they were kids Bill would take Danny around to the stores, with the idea that if Danny would sing, the owners would give them candy. It worked!
I encourage you to listen to the other Danny G videos that are posted, then decide if they sound alike!
