This song was on The Dubliners' original 1976 LP A Parcel of Rogues, just for those who were wondering. I think this man as pretty much unrivalled in singing ballads, actually. This is absolute magic. John Sheehan's work on this record is pretty excellent too.

This song is so beautiful, makes memories arouse in my mind of a time I miss. Makes me want to shed a few tears for Luke and the past.

I think some times its called Boogaloo and boogaloo is said instead of foggy dew in the song.
