  • Wow, gnome hardware!!!

  • @SunkelDude182 I actually don't know - this would be the first time I see them. If I find them I'll let you know but I think a quick Google search might produce something.

  • Every time I watch this video it makes me regret not buying the Mapex Saturn I was looking at instead of my Orange County. I really like these kits and even though Mapex doesnt have that great of a reputation these kits produce the best warm rich tones you could ask for.

  • @SunkelDude182 Yeah, I gotta say - the spikes don't offend me that much.. I play in a progressive punk / metal band and I think the spikes would look super slick

  • promise me you will take the spikes off :)

  • @TheMASDrummer ha ha came off about a year ago, seeing as they were free and i got £25 quid for them on ebay, not a bad result

  • and the toms? why always play cymbals? a serious drummer play all drummer. more toms less cymbals

  • @beatfunk what ever the music calls for man, play anything

  • hey man, solid drumming, sick groove near the end. what kind of cymbals are you playing with?

  • where did you get the bass drum head?

i have been looking for one like that so i can get a custom look for my drums.

  • nice hardware man

  • buitaful kit

  • fucking insane :D

  • what cymblas you got?

  • ride looks like mega bell ride

    ?

  • what cymbals do you use? nice set at all and well played

  • hey were abouts did you get those cymbal toppers

  • my mate works for an engineering company. he knocked them up. cheap thouth. just a bit of polished steel with an 8mm thread drilled in. any steel fabricator/engineering company could do it.

  • Hey, what are the sizes of this particular Saturn model? Also, are you looking to sell this any time soon? Let me know!

  • 12 rack 14 & 16 floor 22 bass. and nope.....i love it!

  • that was ok

  • that comment was ok

  • sick.

  • Love your config.

  • nice playing

take them spikes off, they just make a nice kit look cheap.

  • hahahahaha yeah those spikes do make it look a bit silly.

  • Great drumming man, very impressive, keep it up.

PS, im lovin those spikes on top

  • I have a saturn, except it's the green emerald fade and it's a 7 piece.

    I love them, i think they're beautiful kits :D

  • 100% agreed.

  • by the way... Before asking stupid it could be helpful to google it^^

  • what the hell is ocdp?

  • Orange County Drums and Percussion

  • i don´t like mapex very much, but this kit is great

  • what about the price of that beauty set dude ???

  • im jealous of your kit

    great playing

  • Why are Drums Coloured? To try to look cool and seek attention. So if his spiky "retarded" things caught your attention, then they did their job now didn't they!

  • Ah yes true, thanks SuperChuck3 i agree, i am an awful attention seeker....... i posted a vid on youtube after all!

  • I hope that wasn't sarcastic :O because I wasn't taking a shot at you nor was I trying to call you an attention seeker. I just meant that things like that attract the audience's/viewer's attention.

  • No mate wasn't being sarcastic at all, can never tell on written text! cheers for the comments and having my back.

  • i like the spikes on the drum kit, looks kinda BA. I did however notic the pink and black drum set first and noticed the spikes half way in. Nice spike but whyd you chose Pink and black? nothing wrong with it doesnt match very well, but hey, personal prefrence, nice drumming BTW as well. :D

  • metal up ypur ass...great rythm, i love metal, good for u nice kit...i thought the saturn had more bodies...

    xd Bonzo

  • crashes are of 20 right??

  • 17 & 19, close!

  • haha, they look bigger, haha...

    XD Bonzo

  • metal head stands bro.

  • You have a great drumset!!!!!

  • whoa whats on the stands?

  • Awesome!

  • Can you give me specs on that kit, it looks really nice. Also how do the toms sound in person?

  • hi mate, yep 12 x 9 rack 14 x 14 floor 16 x 16 floor. 22 x 20 bass drum. i used the video function on my camera for this so sounds awful, but in person they're lovely. put evans g2 coated on, gives a lovely warm sound with a bit of moongel.

  • can you tell me where to get them spikes on your cymbals

  • my mate works for an engineering company and knocked em up for me, go to a metal fabricator, they'll sort you out. just need an 8mm thread through the middle. have em as big as you like then

  • nice. try not to impale yourself on that hardware though lol... stuff is badass.

  • meh, not bad I guess its impressive to non drummers. Could use a little work with your double kicks since all I heard were just short flurries of 16th notes

  • Sick set up ! Best color ever , I have the same color but diferent configuration.

  • wow man. thats freaking great.

  • I have this kit in this exact finish there easy worth the money. going to upgrade the heads to remo black suedes.

  • sick set!

  • Go kiss my ass

  • Don't listen to that fool dude. I'm actually really impressed with the stuff that you play, its very creative. What I find that is really interesting, is that when a drummer plays a drum solo, even though its a solo, if guitar and vocals were added in, it would sound like a song! Again, the stuff you played is hella nice, and don't listen to that fool. He must not know drums AT ALL, because if he did, he wouldn't be dissing you, he would be complimenting you.

  • cheers mate, thanks for the support

  • i agree with you decentdrummer911, this drummer is very good esp the groove at 1:13

  • Ha ha, thats better than Brendan Fraser which i always get referred to!

  • Ha I'd hate to fall on your kit that's a health hazard

    Keep rocking dude

  • no toms?

  • huh? there are toms..

  • what an idiot

  • those were some sexy beats

  • big fucking spiks

  • man i love the snare. i also like the kit. very nice!

  • sounds big

  • HORNY CYMBALS

  • what are the specs of that ocdp snare??

  • hi mate, 14x6 with foor 2 inch vents. Guess you could call it their "production line" size. it's the most common.

  • i mean four. DOH!

  • Man the Saturn kit looks nice, nice playing too 5 stars.

  • can you tell me what coated heads you used on your kit?

  • Evans G2 coated

  • Thanks man... I just ordered a Saturn Crossover on clearance in Electric Blue Sparkle. They're not to difficult to find a sweet spot with

  • ur a prick only twats spin there sticks in the air while playing!!

  • A technique you've no doubt mastered you ignorant bell end.

  • Only twats subscribe to 'Joeyjunior15'.

  • go fuck your self man

    you are just jealous

first of all* a drummer gotta spin the sticks and second* fuck YOU

  • i love it ... can u tell me how much it cost u and if i want to costumize it by adding rack tom

    cheers mate really nice work

  • about $285 plus a tom stand.. easy to look up

  • i'm gettin a saturn kit soon. my dad gave me a limit of $2500, saying that was all he would spend

  • fucking loser. does your dad buy everything for you! i fucking hate people like you.

  • no man, for my birthday. why would i just tell him to get me anew one? plus, i got a piece o' shit kit at the moment, so i should have the right to get one. and to answer your question, no, not in a million years. chill, only 13 years old here!

  • Hey..Im gettin one for my birthday to except my rents are only paying 500$ of it

  • and thants a big ass birthday present, haha your so lucky.

  • so wat, ur 13 u should enjoy the fact that u have a kit, why don't u try fixing it up, my kits a piece of s*** 2 but i don't go asking 4 a brand new 1, also theirs no reason 4 u 2 get a pro level kit at ur age, just get urself a n intermediate kit n buy some bad a88 cymbals

  • poor you, only 2500..

  • yeah, thats what i thought!

  • damn your lucky, i had a limit of $100 hahaha i had to pay for a majority of my set.

  • nice work ocdp are fantastic snares

  • heyyy i like your spikes

  • sweet kit!! nice playing too!

  • Great sounding kit you have there, nice grooving, too. I noticed that you have the ride in the traditional spot but you don't play French grip w/ your right hand on the ride - something I've been debating myself.

  • i find i don't get enough power with french grip, certainly speed, but not the feel i like. practice would increase finger strength for french grip, so it's something i need to work on for sure.

  • awesome!!!

    what cymbal stands r they??

    your tatoos are cool!:)

  • Hey cheers mate. the one on the right is a Premier 4000 series boom, the one on the left, a big dog (british make) medium weight boom.

  • I like your style man, very similar to mine. im ordering crossover 22s in 2 days in twilight stardust. keep drumming :D

  • Nice practice space.

  • Nice, i just bought a saturn today, la series in crystal crush being delivered on monday :D!

    Nice playing

  • Sweet kit! I ordered that same kit yesterday. Crossover 22 config, yes? Can I ask you...is the finish more purple or pink? It looks very pink in the catalogue but more purple here and in pics i've seen.

  • ha yes it does look pink in the catalogue. it's definitely more purple in my opinion.

  • awesome! just ordered a new mapex saturn in pop 22 config in root beer sparkle. it sounds terrific. so does yours! love the spikes on the cymbal stands. i like to have the same brand of cymbals, same brand of everything, idk why. so, if i was you, i would replace the ocdp snare with a nice black panther of your choice!your choice though. Please watch my video! it has a mapex m birch but my next will be saturn...

  • Cheers mate, yeah it came with a matching snare, but OCDP all the way for me. The sound of them are awsome IMO. I'll check out your vid.
