I like the screaming he put into it. Davey is an awesome sing. What I love about their early stuff is that it's the only hardcore band you'll find where the singer is actually a good singer. Not that Henry Rollins type guys aren't good for hardcore bands, but its a nice change to hear these kind of vocals in hardcore.

everything up until and including the sing the sorrow record was good, decemberunderground and crash love i listened to and regretfully bought and within a week i traded them in. i thought they were absolutely horrible in my book but this is one of the good "signature" afi songs to me

@mentalfive davey can't really do the same type of yelling he did on anything before "Sing the Sorrow" . i've heard he "hurt his voice" with that method, probably needed vocal node surgery or something to that extent. so now he uses the "pig-squeal" technique to acheive a similar effect. albeit not the same, give the guy some credit he's been doing this since the early 90's

I can't believe how watered down this version of the song is. Except for Davey's screams, and even that sounds soooo different from All Hallows version. It's so insane how much they have progressed. this is a good version, but i have thing bugging me about it. it just doesn't have the same feel to me as it originally did. back in the day he had so much power behind his voice when he sang it. now it seems to me he relies on masking it with the screaming. feel free to argue, that's just my view on it.
