I listen to dis song when i was Nigeria and i liked it even though i dont understand what he is saying. the only thing wrong with it is that G unit's vandana. Lets be our selfs pls Africans
i love this song, love ghana and love castro. there is hope for our industry after all if they keep up the good job and dont do no copyrighted songs from overeseas music.
its the same formula they have always used..nuttin has changed if u had an ear 4 hip hop then u`d know that when u listen to the tracks u can hear that drum beat in the baseline.. all the producers do is feed that natural drum beat it into a computer then start messin about with it with their computer, then layer it with different computerised sounds..then make a few million off what they apparently "created"..so in a reality the real art of rhyming over beat is dead..
to go one further I work in the music industry and look after timbaland , pharell to name a few when they tour abroad...when pharell did the Nelly tune "get your eagle on girl " the beat was made in Ghana I should know because I was there with him, all producers do is get a get a tribal African band to play a drum beat , then the producer holds a dictor-phone like device to record it while the play the drum, then use this as the basis of whatever hip hop track they do.
murdacityadabraka..read properly b4 u quote, i didn't say hip hop started in Ghana I said it started in AFRICA..GET IT RITE.. if u knew anything about the art of rhyming over a beat (i.e. hip hop in its ORIGINAL form) then we wouldn't be having this convo.. the stuff u call hip hop now is nutthin but bumble gum cartoon pop music...the art of rhymin over a beat has been in Africa since day dot.. ANYONE in the music industry will tell u that.its a known undisputed fact
Nostranummerus u TWAT , this video is showin how we do it in africa where hip hop started.its not about tryin to act like your hard .we do it for wantin to have a good time...that crap about i gotta wear my logo to look tough crap started when america messed up the art of rhyming over beat.. this aint about being gangsta....rather that sit in some stale european country called Germany ...maybe u should learn somethin about hip hop and its orgins b4 u start writin stupid comments on the video..
ok I'm mixed with ghanian/creole/italian/black... but ask me what I am, I always say Ghanian! lol I love this video...have a good time with out all the bangin and mess.
@naabpearl LOL///// funniest thing I ever read on youtube comment/ "Hip Hop started from Ghana infact west africa. (I can just hear your accent by that comment, the infact makes it much funnier)
@naabpearl Infact Hip Hop started in New York with African Bambaata and grandmaster flash, kurtis blow....in the late 70's. ghana hip life didnt start till like 1997.no need to claim anything for west africans.High Life and folk music is all we knew. until reggie rockstone.

Always keep the baseline. The DRUM! This is good music. Change is good but not the kind change that has taken over the Western HIPHOP.
