  • Live in Surrey. I love the ability to live in the "countryside" and be able to enjoy the city all in the same day.

  • London is the model city for rapid transit in the world, (in my opinion anyway), I have lived in allot of places and now I'm stuck in a car on the 405!! LOL Actually "Carmageddon" turned out to be so much more mild than people in the news media made it out to be. I made it home today from San Diego in record time...on the 405!!! lol ....to be continued.

  • London is a bloody fantastic city!!

  • i live in belfast and we have a train system but compared to our fellow brits in london are transport system is rubbish london defiantly has IT when it comes to transport

  • @judyroodi wwhy? i disgagre

  • Ahhhhh Missing It ... I used to travel alot in my stay in London : (

  • @FasihKhan1 if your missing london live in london

  • @kaiyan246 Yeah

  • If I ever go to London,I would not attempt driving. I would use the 'tube' of the double decker bus. Cheeper and less stressful.

  • Does anybody know why there is a big gap between the plaform and the door entrance of the train ?

  • @canman5060 the gap really isn't more than a few inches at most, i studied there for 4 months and had no problem mate!

  • @canman5060 Because some of the Tube platforms are very circler and the tube carriages are straight.

  • @canman5060 Not at all staions only when the station is on a curve.

  • i love it tube in london. i was there 3 days ago. they always say "mind the gap". lol

  • what was the point

  • I know it's sad but I love the London Underground. As a student getting around London, learning the routes and figuring out how to get to places on it is actually quite fun. I was surprised at how safe and clean they were.

  • Though I do hate public transportation, I have to agree that in London it is really better to use the tube! I moved to London from Munich, Germany more than three months ago. Back in Munich I used to drive with my car everywhere and hated any kind of public trasportation. Here in London, however, it is even fun, because I always meet new people on the journey to my university, and quite often some nice girls, so uncomplicated here :) still, I will buy a car for weekend trips to the country!

  • the underground in glasgow is nothing like the london one

  • London Underground dirty!!?? Ha, I live in the U.S. and have been to London several times and always found the tube to be safe, clean and free of scumbags. Try taking the subway in New York City if you want to see dirty...they all smell of piss and puke, are FILTHY, UNsafe and filled with homeless scumbags. I'll take London over N.Y.C. anytime!!!

  • not the biggest fan of the tube crowded, dirty and some stations are real shitholes which are quite dangerous at night still its the fastest and cheapest way to get around london

  • Was in london last year. Man I miss the london underground !

  • Man I miss London...a lot more action there than Sydney!

  • Circle Line

  • it's London Wow.

    It sucks here O_O

  • metro wydaje takie dźwięki jak metro w Warszawie (stary model)

  • damn that looks fun :D

  • instead i would do something more interesting without having to gasp for air

  • Epic....

  • Ist true, that different lines belongs to different corp.?

If somebodey knows, report me, please!) Im wery interested in it.)

  • @proppkrot All lines are run by TFL(transport for London) who also run the buses & some surface railways:-Overground & DLR(Docklands light railway). They are a public body overseen by the Mayor of London

  • I'm glad people like you are slowly dying out.

  • hahahaa (:

Making out the underground is for the poor!

Aren't you silly! Most of the people on the tube are travelling to work at their jobs, many high earning jobs too.

Besides the point of a car in London is like nothing, takes forever to get anywhere! The tube is quicker.

I think it's fun(: look at it with a bit of positivity rather than constant moaning and such. Grumpy thing!

    Have a nice day!

  • I think its quite fun aswell. (: Go public transport! :P

  • Good comment man

    GOD BLESS

  • How correct are you! I don't live in London, but I know for a fact that 70 - 75% of the population use public transport, with a large proportion of this using the tube. It is the best way to get to work. The guy talking about cars should try and fight his 'fuel efficent' car through the London traffic each morning.....then...and then try and park it. Plus, we can add the congestion charge into the mix for good measure.

  • oh, I thought I was overwhelmed enough in my city because of the traffic and struggling to park, but then I knew London....congestion charge is such a burden for car drivers!

  • yeah, I was there last week, going by Underground is quicker, I live in Mexico City and it's the same shit here, if you go by car it takes forever to go anywhere

  • BART, bay area rapid transit in california is the shit

  • The good parts about the london tube:

    -Comfortable seats

    -Big trains

-Good layout with stations pretty much everywhere and many line connections.

    The bad parts:

    -Overcrowded

    -SO FREAKING HOT IN THERE!

-It breaks and has technical problems a bit too often

Anyways, it sure is different than the Montreal Metro (Subway)

  • i know,i love subways

  • Tubes in London, well....don't ask a Londoner for directions, nope, noway! They would rather run you over than help a tourist with directions....

  • I've asked them and they were all very nice and able to help me.

  • nah, thats only some ppl.

I talked to many Londoners & they were very nice :)

  • fuck the gap

  • Fuck your mum :)

  • lol my mom is not a tube hahahahhahaha

  • Joking man ;)

  • ya its circle line

  • this train line is cirlce line is it ??

  • this train line is cirlce line is it ??

  • tubes are nighmares!

  • I was there a day before:) Lol

  • I was there a day before:) Lol

  • this is shitt

  • MIND THE GAP

  • HaHa! "Please step away from the line."

I love London. Such a cool city.

  • Same here man. I'm so glad I live there.

  • Wow, thanx 4 posting this, now I know what to expect! I visit London in 3 weeks, first time. These trains lots faster than Canada :-)

  • Hey, did you get to come over to England? Let me know!

  • How did I come to England..it was a long walk, hahaa. No I flew by plane, cuz I am from Canada. :-)

  • Well, so you did end up here? you came by plane and you DID end up here? the point of my comment was for you to reply and let me know if 1. you GOT HERE and 2. ou had a nice time? of course it was by plane, i had allready assumed that much anyway

  • Yes, I did get there to London for sure :-) I enjoyed my time for the most part yes, but is very different than Canada, and also a very large city compared to Canadian ones.

  • But you like it at least? i been to London a few times, i live in England. i went to New York City a few years back, amazing. i think new york is way different..very nice city..all i know about canadian cities is that you have one called "Toronto"

  • What is the station's name at 1:30 ?

I'm pretty sure i've been there a long time ago.

I was thinking of it as a train station, as a child, because of the difference with the tubular tube.

  • high street kensington

  • What is the station's name at 1:30 ?

It reminds me something from my memory ...

  • The Station is Kensington High Street

  • high street kensington is the correct name

  • thanks !

  • Love it

  • I love the London Underground, I think it's the best underground system in the world. Our system (in Budapest, Hungary) is so ugly and short...

  • I enjoyed it. But technically it isn't the "tube". London has two types of line. This is "cut and cover" because they cut a trench and then covered it. The lines run just under the surface and the trains are full size. The real "tubes" run deep under London and the trains have rounded tops to fit in them. Type "London Tube Train" into YouTube and you'll see a video described as "Tube train coming into Holborn Station . . . " which illustrates the point.

  • Ah I love the Tube. Cool vid

  • Did you hide your camera?

  • Nice one. Reminds me to stay where I am now though.London is great but I wouldn't want it to be my everyday reality. And that lady with a bag! Can't believe someone can feel so guilty as to carry ' Faithfull' bag around!
