Hey this is kind of a silly question. But I'm a new guitarist and I was wondering if it's important to learn all the modes in every position in every key? For example should I learn to play A B And C dorian (+Others) In every position?

@PkedYou The most importent scale that i first learn was minor pentatonic, try to get all five posisions, and about the modal key,get some musicprogram for ex band in the box or guitarpro it´s a great program to practice scales and modes...when you get it i can help you futher...a great video about modal improvisation is Frank Gambales "Modes no more mystery" that help me a lot..and the answer to your question is "yes" :) keep on rocking,/Roger

Fan va bra du är..hehe. jag har ju skrivit några gånger till dig men var bara tvungen att skriva att jag är inne och kollar på dina videos lite varje dag. Mitt gitarrspel trillar på plats varje gång jag gör det för du påminner hela tiden om de viktiga sakerna i gitarrspelet. Ha inte bråttom, tänk inte för mycket, lägg mer vikt i ton, vibrato och dynamik, det är inte farligt att hålla ut en ton i 2 hela takter om det görs rätt med exakthet och rätt nyansering.

Yes,orginal it is a fender stratocaster lace sensor from 1996 but with a new neck,my orginal neck get sick and i have to change it.
