  • why do you live in taiwan?

  • faved. Respect :)

  • Wow nice collection, you obviously like early morning & university flake, they are the next tobaccos on my list to try.

  • rehfeldttw, I'm going to dispatch a horde of ninja to raid your tobacco collection! What a beautiful selection! ^_^

  • where do u get pipe tobacco? im dying for some :P

  • @ArcticTrees i just use maple syrup flavored shisha

  • Shave it, Beards are out, and freaky. Love you vids, and your tobacco collection. Would you be willing to sell me a few of the Early Morning tins, Im wanting to try some but can't find it anywhere.

  • And I thought I had too much tobacco!

  • I think you keep in stock for personal use more tins of tobacco than some shops stock to sell!!

  • Oh, Marlin Flake BY Rattray. That's the treasure.

  • i am a beginner pipe smoker. at first i was feeling bad if not guilty when i end up a few brands/type of tobacco as i am constantly trying new ones. looking at yours, oh well it looks like pipe smokers is bound to end up with a lot of tobaccos stored in house :)

  • you like tin tobacco alot don't you ?

    you like bulk tobacco ?

  • Nice collection!

  • Would there be any type of (preferred aromatic) tobacco you'd recommend. I've taken an interest in pipe smoking recently and I'm just wondering what would be a good tobacco to start out on. Of course i understand it's entirely opinion - it would just be nice to get a quick over-view.

    Yours faithfully, TRP

  • @theROFLpanda One aromatic I highly recommend is Mac Baren's Cube "Silver". It taste as good as it smells. Let me know if you enjoy it too.

    Cheers!

    Michael

  • @rehfeldttw do you inhale pipe tobacco?

  • @theROFLpanda Mac Baren also has a great American style aromatic line called 7 Seas that's really good. I'd say they're good for beginners, because I've never gotten tongue bite from them and the flavour carries over well from the tin note to the taste. Really can't go wrong with any blends in that line, though the Regular and Royal tend to be favoured more.

  • poor tins they just want some air :(

thats the only logical reason why they were so hard to put back lol.....

wonderful collection btw and nice pipe.

  • awesome collection

  • Taiwan Is Awesome!:)

    Ruben

  • Dang, look at all that Early Morning Pipe! I have tired to find that everywhere!

Nice collection. I think I am going to get some boxes like that to put all the stuff I ordered in!

    Cheers!

    NGP

  • are those the Japanese warnings? lol. great collection

  • Wow. Nice collection.

  • Nice collection man. Do you know the years on those McClelland blends? the last two numbers on the bottom are the year dates. I just picked up two 20 year old blends.

  • @Xrposiedon I see. I haven't notice that. Could you be more specific on where the number is? I didn't see the number.

    Michael

  • on the bottom of the tin on McClelland blends primarily, there are a group of numbers. the first numbers are batch numbers and tin number, the last two are the year of the tinning.

  • excellent..

  • let it grow!!!! like the rest of us :)

  • You are a lucky man to have this awesome collection. I hope to learn your experience with WO Larsen Signature blend. All the best, Chris

  • Nice tobacco cellar & UniFlake is one of my top 3 blends

    Cheers

    Brian

  • Love the case of Uni flake..that's the way to do it...It'll never go down in price.

  • Gooed collection . Wolf.

  • Thanks Wolf!

  • Hi, rehfeldt!

First of all, may I say that is an impressive collection of tobacco. Seriously, at the rate I smoke, that would last me about 10 years, methinks. So excluding University Flake, which of those blends is your favorite?

Regarding the beard, I say give it another 5 days or so, and if you're not happy with it (or with its prospects) at that point, ditch it. There's no rule saying that pipe smokers have to be bearded.

    Happy puffing,

    Crow

  • There should be some sort of bylaw, with a loophole phrase like "insofar as genetics and circumstance allow"...

  • Thank you. Crow

Well, I tend to like or prefer, Mac Baren company in general because I have tried a few blends and almost all the blends I tried, I am satisfied with. Dunhill or Davidoff as well as Peterson's Old Dublin. I go for English blend before I for with aromatic. Some aromatic are good too. Like W. O. Larsen

    Cheers!

  • Great tobacco collection! I love Early Morning pipe! but why do they have to put these disgusting stickers on top of this beautiful tin art!?!? they dont put turd-stickers on a cheeseburger-wrap...

  • I agree with you fully on that! Stay tuned. I will do a Taiwanese Tobacco Warning Label.

    Cheers!

  • Keep the beard...a right of passage I think.

  • OK. I shall keep it. btw, my churchwarden has arrived. Will post an update tomorrow my time. +8 GMT.

    Cheers!

  • Great collection! I love the McClellands! :)

    Cheers, Eddy

  • Cheers!

  • Go for the beard, bro.

  • Yeah, I think so too!

  • I go for keeping the beard. ^^

Great collection! University Flake is also always in my drawer.

    Cheers,

    Alex

  • I'm glad too that you also like the University Flake.

    Cheers!

  • Hope i never run out!

  • wow...that is enough tobacco for an army!! great collection! cheers

  • Thanks!

  • That's a lot of Uni Flake. I'm smoking Peterson's Gold Blend right now. It's very good but even better when dried out a bit. I found some old Dunhill Light Flake at a local tobaconist. The flakes were beautifully manufactured.

  • Thank you for letting me know. I will dry them out and then smoke them.

  • huge collection...this will last for a few months, years?

    Keep the baird!

    You have you own tobaccoshop!!!

  • I wish I own a tobacco shop. These baccy will probably last a few month.

Thanks I will keep the baird

  • ah Marlin Flake... my favorite

very nice collection of tobaccos, thanks for sharing

  • Thank you.

I will try the Marlin Flake and do a review on it.
