surely putting him a tutu does the complete opposite and shows that he has the confidence to do something that he wouldn't have before because now he can handle being challenged. the whole point of it is that he can take the mick out of himself and anyway the finale is supposed to be fun-thats the whole point.
Putting him in a tutu (which doesn't happen in the film) just reinforces the stereotypes the show is purportedly trying to overthrow. At least he got paid for it.
I was there to see this performance...Fantastic performance, loved the show and dare I say emotional at the end!! The part the two (Billy and Michael) say good bye using their real life names... Class!
I saw it Jan 2008 as well, and I saw Trent. Trent wasn't in the problem yet, but Olly was still in there, so for the longest time I thought I had seen Olly as Billy.
