Well there is some other differences between the two. 1st there's the hardware and 2nd there's the keyboard. The hardware is just a matter of more and better, while the difference in the keyboard is the size of the F1,2,3,4,5 etc. row and the 11" having no keyboard lit-keys, but having an eject key that the 13" does not. Obviously this eject key is for the component SuperDrive. To those in doubt, I'd go with the Macbook Air. But I myself is waiting for BlueTooth 4.0 and perhaps a lower price

@Monster6309 obviously you have never seen a router and yes there is wireless in the computer but you do need to buy a router and connect to your own or somebody else's wifi network
however, i wonder why people hates Mac items ? is it just because expensive or something ?
in my opinion, i have both systems. PC just for my gaming rigs and Mac for my web development. though iMac can handle bootcamp and play mid-range quality of games.
1st, i tried BF3 in my BootCamp and yes it can run the mid-range quality of the game.
2nd, my electricity bills cut through almost 30 - 40% down than my previous bills.
@TekBeatTV Hey man great vid! i finnaly go this today i got the 13" intel cor i5 128ssd model and i have a few questions. When i have been using it for simple tasks such as facebook as youtube at the same time the battery last an extremly unsualy short amount of time. It aslo gets very hot and the fan goes like mad when i am jsut on facebook or serching the web. is this normal?
Will.. I know you mentioned in the insanelygreat mac live show that the video rendering is somewhat slow on the air. How well do you think the 13 mba compares to the 2011 13 mbp for video rendering? I have a 2011 13 mbp currently but if the speed is close i may sell the mbp and go for there mba to save on weight.. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated. Thanks
@MichaelDee360 Largely the video rendering is dependent on the graphics card and sadly the HD3000 is not that great a performer. The 13 MBP possess the Nvidia graphics which will most likely allow it to have better rendering capability. You will sacrifice some performance on the MBA's from the MBP 13" but it comes down to is it worth it for the lighter weight. Hope this helps!
oh wow, youv'e really upped your production value on this video. It now looks like those expensive ones you see Apple or another big company put out. I say keep going this way as it makes you look alot more professional, and another plus is that the camera angles you used as well as lighting and smooth sweeping of the camera really let's us see the products better than just having a black background and you holding it up to the camera and the camera having to focus.
@batmanjokergorden That's awesome, really makes me happy that you said that and that you think that highly of it ;). My hopes is that all future videos will take on this form and I can really make my viewers and subscribers happy :). Thanks again and hope I can count on your continued support!
@DudeFromUkraine Thanks man! Appreciate the kind words, congrats on the new purchase I know you will not regret it. My 11" is sticking with me pretty much wherever I go now haha, although I did have to get the CTO version (had to return my current one) due to the 128 GB storage not being enough :(.
@fabioadias Haha, yea for me I would love for them to have 8GB as an upgrade possibility and a better graphics option as well (dedicated would be great). Here's to hoping the next generation will! :) Thanks for the support and compliment as well!
I love your videos but one thing I really dislike(sorry) is that you don't have any music on your intro maybe its personal preference but it really annoys me.
@Nova2Be Thanks man! No problem, I always welcome input. I am looking for sound/theme for the beginning, still working on it but it's taking some time hope you can understand and stick with me :).
So tempted to buy one myself. Will it increase the performance significantly if I upgrade from 1,7 GHz dual-core Intel Core i5 to 1,8 GHz dual-core Intel Core i7? Looks like it's the only thing you can upgrade too.
@latrysva Yea I think the laptop is worth it. With regards to the processor upgrade I would recommend the upgrade only if you plan on doing some heavier computing on the MBA. The performance gains are decent (not huge) mostly due to the turboboost and extra cache of the Core i7. It is not that costly in my mind so I would go for it but if you are watching your budget the core i5 1.7 is good as well :).
@ThatTechShow Thanks man! Yea definitely review it, totally worth it. Always people out there looking for reviews on hardware, and usually with every review some little piece of information is mentioned in one while not in another ;).
@techme1000 Sorry you feel that way, I did mention heat issues, use cases during the video as well as the battery performance. I did leave benchmarks out because I have a separate video for that. Is there particular elements that I should have covered that you would suggest? I am always trying to make my videos better and better and input is always welcome. Thanks again for the support!
@berniecalo01 Sorry you feel that way, was hoping that this review would incorporate more on usage but in the end it is a combination of both knowing the specifications and elements of usage (heat, battery life, performance (made another vid on that)). Maybe in the future I will roll it up into one but it might be longer and overlap with other videos is the only other issue. Need to try and find that happy medium :). Appreciate the feedback and will continue towards making it better! :)
@m75videos Yea it was, I was really happy with the results. Need to do some more post production work in the future with regards to color correction but was not feeling great today and playing around with the finnicky FCPX built in color correction was frustrating me haha.
Awesome review Will. I don't like the integrated graphics on the new MacBook air. How come they didn't keep the NVIDIA chip? What's up with Apple allowing Intel to put their crappy GPU? Lol
@JSantana319 Yea I believe they went with the integrated graphics due to license agreements and similar performance to the nvidia chipset. Although that is the public answer, my personal opinion is it came down to pricing and they went with the cheaper option. They did a similar thing with the thunderbolt port as it is not a full 4 channel bi directional TB port but only offers 2 bi directional channels and can only support 1 display-port. Hope this helps!
@TekBeatTV Damn Will, you do your homework. Way to go kid, lol. Honestly the Intel 3000 doesn't bother me because I don't use heavy intensive applications and I hardly game, but I noticed that Firefox was lagging on YouTube. I don't know if it has to do with the graphics card, but when I had the previous 13 inch Macbook Pro with the NVIDIA 320M it never happened while using Firefox. Very good explanation and it did help :)
@MichaelDee360 Thanks man! :) I actually still prefer the 11" and that is primarily due to the weight difference (0.7 lbs approximately). Since I go to conferences and press events a lot (and usually end up carrying quite a bit of equipment) the weight savings helps (even the little bits). Since the components are essentially identical on the high end it really comes down to weight and resolution. Hope this helps and appreciate the support, makes me happy that I can help!
@beatstunes Hey, not sure what you mean but the base model is 1.7 Ghz Core i5. It is decent for speed (approximately double the last generation in benchmarks).
