Thanks a MILLION for posting this fantastic blast from not the not so distant past .As a rule of thumb anything from 1961 is great ... Movies, music, electric guitars and amplifiers . Automobiles, Dom Perignon ect... ect....
God Bless the CBSCFF.
Back to this movie. … Watching this film on Saturday morning half awake ... it was Hypnotizing I cannot impress on the reader how this movie was so bad it was fantastic and hypnotic and released in 1961 .........
Omigosh!! I remember this!! Thanks ever so much for posting it! I was very very young but I remember the boy dropped his shoe in a well or something-and centuries later it was still there! Thanks for the memories! I'm putting this in my favorites-and now that I know the film's name (I could not remember it)I'm going to try to get on dvd or vhs.
This film made a powerful impression on me when I saw it 45 years ago as part of the 'Tales from Europe' strand. It's wonderful to see it again. Where can I obtain a copy of the complete film?
I searched for this movie for years...finally my friend Mike helped me. All he had to go on was "Some kid lost his shoe" LOL!!!!

Nice memory, I do remember seeing it advertised in the paper as a kid but, unlike you, I never saw it, until today, Oct 3 2010 on you tube,
but honestly speaking, only now, am I ready to receive the message,
a message which is unique for all of us, and really powerful for me
