@M16223cal im not going to rag on you as i figure your allowed your opinion. but out of curiosity what do you have against a SB? i have a 289 pushing around 330hp (not sure what TQ would be tho) now i know that 330 really isnt much when many big blocks come stock with more than that but if you look at it as Power to CI ratio then im doing pretty damn good. As for how his car looks right now well it really isnt that bad considering its age and most likely he plans on doing more to it.

spoiler is lame.. i got a 68 aswell with a 390 but no spoiler, and the hood scoop thing is gay. but cougars still are sick cars

thoose cars came stock wiht the spoiler and the hood scoop. that motor get more air forced into it when hes going down the road so it has a lil bit more power. and the spoiler is to push down on the rear end like an airplain wing so you get better traction. there are reasons for the extra parts besides looks. cuz my turbo on my 96tbird looks gay but its fast as hell. dont diss performance. but atlest you have good taste and not a chevy guy.. i hope..l8er dayz better layz take it easy man

the scoops were on special models but are non functional, just for looks they do not open into the engine bay, and the spoiler didnt become an option till 69 or 70 and it is also non functional except at super high speeds it might slow you down .0009 mph

@lionroar95 if youre running a 9 inch rear, you can go 3:70, 3:50. if its an 8.8,, 355s are REAL nice if youre running a tranny without overdrive, but if you go with an overdrive id go 373s 410, but thats me,, everyone has their preference
