Theres bugs on all living things, even us. You can take a sloth home and wash it, but that doesnt mean its any better for it.

Some species have a species (or several species) of moss in their fur, and I think I heard somewhere that theres a species of moth, and the caterpillar of this moth ONLY eats the moss in the sloths fur.

Depending on what species of sloth your hugging, you may just get a hug back, or you may leave with one face less. Not all sloth species are nice and cuddly.
