If it weren't for the sappy rehab message, I would have honestly considered it to be a joke. Then, when I saw Werner Herzog's name on it, I was in disbelief. This is honestly one of the worst movies I've ever seen. How did Herzog go from working with Kinski to working with "Xzibit"? Really, quite shameful and embarrassing.

I was really bummed out by how Werner Herzog saying it wasn't a remake. It not only shares the same title but it also has a very similar subject matter. So, Nikoli Coppola plays a drug addicted cop with a hard on for non-sequitar hilarity who gets on with his supergoofy morbid humor on a road to redeeming himself and ALMOST falling down.
