TrueBlood(Sookie Stackhouse novels) is way better!

It's more sophisticated and sexy.

Twilight appeals to the teenage audience in my opinion.

I just adore the show and the books, they are very well written.

That's just my opinion.

i think true blood is more edgy, and thats personaly what makes me love true blood more. the southern vampire series is extremely well written, like amazing. i have to say, true blood tops it for me. And plus it has amazingly beautiful vampires named Bill.. :] im in love with this show.

I hve to say that I have read both series and watched Twilight and TB - there is no way that SM did not rip off the true bld vampires I love vamp romance as much as all of u but read both series for yourself TB vamp was out 4yrs before Twilight... SM claims she got her ideas from a dream! come on! maybe she read the TB series, fell asleep and had a dream bt its not original of course she's not going to admit it - that's illegal! sorry ya'll SM vampires are a disney version of the original

i disagree maybe she didn't come up with it in a dream but the story are very differen tones about high schoolers another is about grown people you have shape shifters in both but there so different in the developement that you cant say oh its just like the other one true blood is a lot more complex than just kitty high school school libido b/c in twilight ed. is scared to have sex with bella i love both stories and they have their similarties but their differences are what really makes the show

ANd ... Charlene is experienced she's been writing for a long time BUT STEPHENIES BOOKS ARE BETTER WRITTEN IT'S MORE POPULAR FOR A REASON !!! If Stephenie was such a poor writter nobody would be buying her books.

well, technically, Cullens are better in that they can move in sunlight. the true blood vamps can't. but on the other hand, true blood vamps are so much more organized.

The Southern Vampire series, from my point of view, is at least ten times better than the Twilight series. Charlaine is a much more experienced writer then Meyer, and her character development is way better.

As to who would win in a Twilight/Fangtasia battle, the True Blood vampires would win for sure. From what each writer elaborated on in the books, the Southern Vampires are a lot stronger than the vamps in Twilight.
